This is a quaint little restaurant with interesting decor and the meals are not your usual fare but was very tasty.

Customer service was fantastic and food was great. Prices are reasonable as well. Not a huge menu but definitely something for everyone . Great place to go for gatherings or just for a nice lunch

Well situated (downtown on the main street), street parking or nearby free parking lot. NIce décor, simple and clean. Eclectic and innovative menu (hint that the owner is experienced and skilled), covering a range of tastes (including vegetarian and gluten-free options). And daily specials that...rotate. Ask about the dishes, you'll get surprises like this: the modestly titled "Sri Lankan beef curry wrap" consists of pieces of tender beef brisket simmered for 14 hours in a mild Sri Lankan curry (hint of clove and cinnamon), then wrapped (actually artistically wrapped, like a gift package!) in a tortilla/crêpe which is grilled. Talk about attention to detail, and delicious. Also a respectable wine list. Attentive and cordial service. All this without breaking the bank, and in Amherst!More

My husband, daughter and I had a fabulous lunch at the Savoie. Fantastic seafood chowder, out of this world lamb burger, and amazing mac and cheese burger made the drive more than worth it!! We topped it off with the nut free carrot cake which...was out of this world!!! Make the effort to go to the Savoie, you will not regret it!More

This was another restaurant that was given a try, and the food was very good. I recommend the seafood chowder. It will definitely give you a full feeling and want to go back for more. When you travel through Amherst, I recommend this restaurant.

There were only 4 people sitting at the bar when I entered, however the host offered me a seat wherever I wanted and listed the daily specials. I reviewed the menu and was please to see a variety of light and medium type meals very...competitively priced. I chose the Sri Lankan curried beef wrap with salad and vegetables (bit of both option). I opted for the local Triders red ale for refreshment and I was provided with glass of lemon water before I placed my order. The wrap was superb as were the baked kipfler potatoes and the house made garlic mayonnaise. The host check in to see how the meal was going down. I followed this with house made carrot cake and a house blend of french pressed coffee to finish. Thanks for a great meal and attentive friendly service while still spending time with your other customers.More

We weren't sure what to expect but were immediately put at ease by Andy, the proprietor's, warm welcome and invitation to choose our own seat. The vibe is casual and relaxing with mismatched furniture, cloth napkins and lovely earth-tone plates. The décor is eclectic and...sets and nice mood. There were three in our party and each of us was impressed with the quality of food. The salads were made with fresh greens, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, shredded carrots and pickled beets (which normally make me gag but these were actually good!). Andy told us all the meat (except shrimp) was locally sourced. The seafood chowder was fresh and tasty and fresh baked focaccia was perfect. Lamb burger and beef burger elicited rave reviews for rich flavor and lovely presentation. We are in Amherst/Spring Hill on business and this was the best meal of the entire trip. My only regret is that we did not find Savoie Kitchen earlier in the week. We all agreed this is someplace we would love to experience again. And again. And again!More

Just keeps getting better and better! The lamb burger is my new favourite. The wine and beer selection is top-notch AND local! Varying daily artisanal burger/gourmet pizza/flavourful soup. Consistent in quality and friendly in atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We just had lunch here traveling back to Maine from StFX in Antigonish! Fabulous lunch, warm friendly wait staff. Excellent food! We would make a point to eat here here next year when we return.

We've been to Savoie Kitchen several times.... their menu is limited but the food is excellent. Their club house, burger and seafood chowder are popular... but I loved their pizzas which are more a Mediterranean style, Caesar salad is good and I loved their carrot...cake which I've had every time I visited. Not much of a wine menu but they do have good wines. Good service and good food!!! We've been back a couple of times and looking forward to going back!!More

Love this place. We spend far too much time and money here, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Again, I reiterate, I love this place. The service is great. The food is great. Check it out. Anything on the menu that contains lamb,...is the BOMB, and also local. So definitely try anything containing lamb on the menu. Here’s a daily pizza pic. Pickles, homemade tomato sauce, chicken, mushrooms, peppers,, mozzarella, and cheddar. So good! #omnomnom #savoiekitchenamherst #dandylittlereviewsMore

We popped in for a late lunch and were thoroughly entertained by Andy. The seafood chowder was the best I had in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The burger was good and salads looked good too. I highly recommend this restaurant. Good music playlist.

Like home cooking but better! Fresh ingredients and creative takes on family recipes make this place a winner every time. Love their pizza (with dill pickles!) and their burgers are phenomenal.

This place was recommended by the hotel clerk, and we are glad we tried his recommendation because it is great. The owner prepares the food himself and it is fresh daily. I had his homemade pizza and it was delicious. The bread is fresh baked....They also have the local craft beer on tap. Prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend this place for a good meal.More
