We had lunch at Bistro. What a selection of delicious burgers and poutine. I had the regular fries to save a dollar. Even the fries were incredible! The burger had so much flavor, all I can say as it sort of melts in your mouth. The poutine was more than my buddies could eat in a sitting. A true gem... More

Enjoyed the pickerel burger with the coleslaw on the side. I think the slaw on the burger would have made the bun soggy but that is just my preference. Others had the regular burger combo. Lots of fries!! Service is friendly and place is clean.

Always a great indulgence to enjoy poutine but especially when have a hang over! The service is good but expect to wait a bit. Good things take time!

The burgers are terrific, ordered the fries also, they are really good but could not eat them too full after the burger! I am looking forward to coming back in the warmer weather, this place is unheated.

Very disappointed on our last visit - gave a rave review the first time. Burger patty was rubbery, and salty. No lamb burgers available. When I commented on the not-so-tasty burger, I was told that they were having an issue with their meat supplier. Which puzzled me, as I thought the burgers were prepared from not frozen meat - even... More

The Bistro Burger Joint is a small restaurant by the tracks in Alliston. It can be hard to find but it is worth the time. All the food is local. The burgers are pricey but worth every cent. I also like their other specialty, poutine. Tastes like your back in Montreal.

I have eaten in at this location twice before, but I always find it cold in the winter months....so I have preferred to call ahead and get my order to go. Their fries are The Best Fries I have ever had, and I love that you take your stuff home in a potato bag! Super cute :) I always get... More

Took 6 months but I finally went and tried this burger joint. I had the BBJay. It's basically a burger with goats cheese. It's really a tasty burger. I'm sure you'll find something there you'll like. The service is not the quickest. I still prefer South Street burger and Burger's Priest. But it's a great burger if you are in... More

The "trouble at the henhouse" is a perfect meal for the spice lover! Huge peice of spicy chicken, topped with garlic aoli, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles! Sweats rolling down my face as I eat this amazing burger. I added cheddar, bacon, and banana peppers for extra flavor! If you're stopping in at Bistro Burger Joint, don't pass this up! Got... More
