If you are in Gibsons or don't mind making a trek in from Vancouver this is the place to check out! Located on the top floor of a building with two other restaurants sits the Pink House. When you walk in you are created with the smiles from both owners Lisa and Mike. The room pops with colours from all the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the room. My group was seated at the large communal table which was great for the size of our group. We ordered an array of dishes including the cauliflower, lamb, duck, potato, salmon and the sprouts. Each dish was beautiful assembled and the each bite was delicious. This is a restaurant you need to visit. Thanks Lisa and Mike for such an enjoyable dinner.

Tonight we went to the The Pink House Bistro for dinner. It has share plates that are larger than tapas and smaller than a main course. We ordered three to share for dinner tonight.
The three courses were:
Sprouts - roasted brussels, garlic, ginger, cilantro, goat feta, pickled lemon, toasted pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds
Risotto - farro, fife, pumpkin, B.C. parmesan, toasted pumpkin seeds, allspice
Salmon - roasted wild Sockeye, tomato braised French lentils, wilted greens, rainbow carrot, charred eggplant puree
The best of the three was the risotto closely followed by the sprouts. I found the salmon a bit dry and the skin not as crisp as I would like (I gave the feedback to the server).
I can recommend the spot as the service was excellent, the price of the food with drinks reasonable and the food satisfactory (as Nero Wolfe would say).

Glad that so many other restaurants in Gibsons were closed (mid-week) when we stumbled into the Pink House Bistro. What a great vibe: thoughtful decor, sparkling clean and COVID-ready. It is clear that this is an owner operated business – lots of pride in their space, their connections with customers and of course - the food that they serve. We actually got to sit up at the bar and had a great chat with one of the owners, Lisa. Learned all about the reason for the Mediterranean/eastern inspired menu. My husband ordered the crispy cauliflower and the lamb patties and I had their amazing salad future. Our meals were definitely quality over quantity, which is the way I like it. The Pink House Bistro is definitely worth visiting if you are on the Sunshine Coast!

The restaurant was not at all busy when I arrived, but I had forgotten my mask, and I was given one but told it would cost me $2.
I fully expected this charge to be waived when or table of four spent $270, but no????
I felt the food choice was limited, what we eat was tasty, but not overly exciting, eg the 'fries' were just shoestring fries, the kind you get in McDonalds. The squid was quite tasteless. It was expensive, three chicken drumsticks were $12, and the portions not large. We will try somewhere else next time.

Hi Zallacq. Per our website, a surgical mask is available for a $2 convenience charge when guests forget theirs. The mask requirement is a provincially mandated order and not our personal corporate policy. The current mask mandate has been back in effect for over three months now. Your teenage server explained the charge when handing you the mask. Despite making incredibly obnoxious and rude comments to her over the subject while still at the door, you chose to accept the mask for a $2 charge instead of going back to your car to retrieve one you already had. If your reaction was anything but what it was, we would have likely waived the charge as we do for most guests. It's unfortunate that you let that personal choice affect the rest of your dining experience. We encourage you to dine elsewhere.

What a fabulous and refreshing new culinary gem addition to B.C.’s Sunshine Coast! Located in our beautiful Gibson’s Landing Seaside Village I can’t say enough about my experience tonight at this amazing little bistro. I had recently purchased a Taste of the Coast dining coupon and The Pink House was the participating restaurant that was our pick for tonight. Best decision I’ve made in weeks! We had three of the shared plates all of which had very pleasing infusion of flavours and textures. Choosing vegetarian plates of a shredded carrot salad along with the fried cauliflower and the Risotto. The combination of decor, service and flavourful cuisine, made for a spectacular experience. I’ll be back for sure to introduce more people to this gem. Thank you Lisa and Michael for settling here on the Sunshine Coast and sharing your travel experiences through your cuisine.

Wish this restaurant wasn’t a ferry trip away for us. Had the vegetarian and meat mezze plate during happy hour. Nicely presented by attentive staff that explained their Covid procedures thoroughly. It was all delicious. The cauliflower with roasted chick peas so good ordered another side of it. Their cocktail menu looked intriguing with unusual ingredients. Sadly only able to sample one, a sangria as driving. The sangria was a generous portion and in the top two in our world travels. The ladies at the end of our bar enjoyed a beet bowl, also delicious and stated the sangria was the best they had ever had. The owners are engaging and fun. We will return and stay in Gibson’s instead of Sechelt so we don’t have to drive. Difficult times for newer restaurants. Residents of the Sunshine Coast are you lucky to have this inventive restaurant in your midst I wish they were in Vancouver. Please support them.

Lisa and Micheal have real passion for people and food. This is made quite obvious by the friendly atmosphere and exquisite creations coming from their kitchen. The cauliflower is so tasty and the falafels are better than I have had in the Middle East.
I would highly recommend trying this gem in Gibsons.

Omg! What a wonderful experience, after being cooped up for 1.5 years! We thought we were doing ok, cooking at home during covid....until we returned to the Pink House tonight. Hello taste buds! From start to finish, it was a 5 🌟 experience. Lisa, our host /owner seated us on the deck with a view of the Gibsons harbour for appies and drinks. Yummy margaritas and lemon drops, followed by the most flavourful, awesome appies. Heavenly!
Lesley our server was also 5 🌟.
We are so lucky have such a diverse choice for dining, right in our neighborhood! We'll make the rounds in the near future!
Thanks to all of our wonderful restaurants in Gibsons! 😁

My Mom and I ended up here for the first night of our vacation and it will be hard to beat for the rest of the trip! The food was amazing and so flavourful and fresh. Such wonderful, unique combinations of flavours and the best falafel we have ever tasted...the perfect crunch and so light on the inside! The service was so lovely and warm and the atmosphere really nice. We loved meeting the owners and hearing about their passion for food and their love of the coast! Felt like having dinner at a friends place with the best food ever. We will definitely be back here every time we visit!

Very good service, Tasty and delicious food. Fallafel, Israeli Salad, Eggplant salad everything to recommend!! There is not a lot of choice but the dishes are prepared fresh - you might have to wait a little bit to be served. Also try the IPA local beer, very tasty.

I hadn't been to the restaurant, so I took a chance. And I am I ever glad I did. Such flavourful food! I am a local, but had my travelling sister with me who also loved it! Nothing is better than fresh ingredients, good cooking and restaurateurs who love food and people!

The Pink House Bistro is absolutely the best dining in Gibsons. We had so much fun and the food was the best. Lisa Donner and her chef husband Michael have put together a sleek, sophisticated space that is light, airy and fun. The patio has the best views of Gibsons and the harbor. We tried almost everything on the menu. The cauliflower is perfectly seasoned in a creamy zhoug sauce. The lemon pickle gives it an extra zing. The artichoke with beluga lentils was perhaps the most tender thing I’ve eaten. The brisket was not the fatty mess you usually get in restaurants. It was lean and moist. Make sure to try the lemon posset with cherry compote for dessert. And don’t forget to have one of their tasty cocktails out on the deck.

What a wonderful evening! The staff were so lovely and attentive, the drinks were delicious, and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had!! The falafel just melts in your mouth. My meat eating friends said the lamb was insanely good. The flavours and combinations of spices were out of this world. Lots of good vegan, veggie and GF options with everything clearly labeled.
Couldn’t have a had a better experience if we tried. Go here!! You will not be disappointed!

The food is imaginative and delicious... felt like we were on vacation in the Middle East. Fabulous service. Had the meze platter and halloumi cheese with tomato salad and faux cocktails. Can hardly wait to go back and try the other dishes!

We visit the Sunshine Coast often and we have been on the look out for "our spot" to go for dinner when we're here. We have finally found it in the Pink House Bistro! Food was fantastic - especially recommend the fried chicken - sooo good! Drinks were wonderful, we tried a few cocktails and they were all great. Best of all the service was excellent! The owners' excitement and passion for their business and the town is obvious. Highly recommend! Oh and be sure to get dessert - you won't regret it!
