We are a take out BBQ restaurant. We use all hormone free meat smoked on site with real hardwood. We have no inside seating but we do have a 12 seat patio that is heated for your dining pleasure We are open for the season!!! We look forward to seeing you soon We are now offering catering, big or small we do it all!

Great stop

Was visiting family from Toronto, and they took me to several gems in the town of gibbons. Besides the view being so beautiful, there were some hit and misses with some eateries that I went to. This place was a bullseye. Menu is simple, there is something for everyone, I had the pork and fries and it did not disappoint. The pork was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and salted perfectly. The owner was friendly and welcoming and came out and asked if we needed anything, ketchup, napkins etc. Great service. A absolute must stop if you go to Gibsons.

One of the only places that allows dogs on the patio

We were lured in by the owner and her dogs whilst walking along the pier. The food was great, basic but delicious. Our dogs were made very welcome on the patio & that made us very happy. It was a shame that there was no liquor licence as a beer would have made the experience even better for us. I chose a fish taco that was messy to eat so I had ask for cutlery, I was given a wooden fork-type implement that didn't really do a great job, so my advice would be to be prepared to get messy when you eat here. Its located right in the harbour where all the boas are kept so the view are good & you can do lots of people-watching. A good all-round basic eatery that welcomes dogs.

Nice Take on BBQ and more

We have eaten at Smoke On The Water several times and the foodis always delicious and with they're personal touch. Have not had a bad main and some ofthe dessert options are unique and tatsy. Take your food and walk out to the end of the pier to enjoy Gibsons Landing from the water view.

WOWZA!!! 'Ya Gotta' try this place

What a great find this was for us. Great food, service, great location. Our group of 7 (including 5 & 8 yr olds + 2 vegetarians) enjoyed the unique variety of foods available here. The brisket was perfectly done and topped with the owner's special BBQ sauce, the smoked jackfruit (the owner has a smoker on-site) was super as the sturgeon fish tacos on corn tortillas. Also, the the fries were perfect. And then there were the deep fried Oreo cookies and mango/almond tarts. We will be back to try some of the rest of the menu SOON!

Unassuming, delicious spot in Gibsons, BC

Great spot for a lunch/dinner. Friendly service and seats outside to look over the marina. We got the hurger with brisket, pulled pork and smoked sausage on it, it was incredible. Fries are amazing too. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Prawn Tacos

While visiting Gibsons with family we wandered down the main pier & came upon this delightful takeout featuring smokehouse meats. We chose the Prawn Tacos. Fantastic flavour & the presentation was exceptional, great value. Will be back on our return trip. Thx!!!

Diablo! Truly SPICY!

If you want a spicy and tasty challenge, go for the Diablo! : Fried chicken in Ghost pepper sauce with kale slaw - it is literally almost to die for. Reminded me of my last challenge in Jamaica - Almost too spicy - had to remove a bit of sauced up batter cuz i was out of practice haha ( it crunches to perfection though), It was really good. Next time i hope to try the smoked jackfruit since i bet these folks can really make it tasty. Thanks for the experience, the variety and the hospitality

Great food, a really friendly couple running the place. We showed up 10 minutes prior to close and they still fired everything up to serve us. It was kind of chilly so they even turned the deck heater back on.

Fantastic bbq place on wharf.

Fantastic bbq place on wharf. Stopped here for lunch after arriving on ferry....best meal in 4 day stay on coast. Patio is small but we found a bench to eat on around the corner. We had Mac and cheese, brisket and sandwiches with fries, all delicious.

Simply Outstanding BBQ

Well, thats it then. We will have to sell our home in Victoria and move to Gibsons to be closer to this BBQ place. We dropped in on a whim, followed the smoke, and Oh My God , WTF? is this good BBQ. My wife and I were stunned, the ribs, the beans, this is sooo good, The man is a wizard. must begin packing now Gordon /Maggy Victoria BC

Talk about great BBQ. Thus place m ow show to smoke and I was actually stunned about the brisket and mac n cheese. Little pricy but that's expected for BBQ. They had limited menu but can't wait to come back.

Wow, amazing experience!

What a treat to have quality bbq right on the pier in Gibsons. Food was fantastic, birth the pulled pork and brisket. Mac and cheese was ok but the cold slaw was amazing. Will definitely be back here!

Tasty bbq in Gibsons

We ordered the pulled pork plate (pulled pork, fries, baked beans, kale and cabbage slaw), and a grilled bun) The food came up quickly, was tasty, and a large portion for the price.
