Stopped in with Family after visiting the area, We were sat quickly at our table and drink orders taken. I had a clubhouse which was for the lack of a better term perfect the chicken was moist and tender and complimented well with the bacon....The cheese balls were odd but addictive and hot LET THEM COOL a little. Rest of family each had a different item. Wait time was a lil long tho were a party of 6 with no reservation and each with a different item ordered. This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was great and it was really well priced too!

Macleod’s in Fort Macleods delivered us a great homestyle meal and refreshing value that is outstanding in comparison to what we would normally find in a city. It is the classic small-town diner ambience, likely popular during its history for the good food. It was...busy during our visit. Tables are close together, so those seeking social distancing please be aware. We started with the cheese balls ($9) which were nice hot and delicious. Cubes of cheddar battered and deep fried to golden perfection hit the spot. We both hand sandwiches for dinner. The Turkey Club ($10) had real turkey, crispy bacon and the fixings. My wife had the mashed potatoes which were done up nicely with good flavor even without gravy. I had the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich ($11), which had great flavor and was super tasty, actually was better than the smoked meat sandwich I had in Montreal, albeit it was in a restaurant at the airport, but still. I opted for onion rings and the portion was quite generous. Overall, the food was outstanding and the value proposition unmatched. It was a great little place and nice and simple dining experience for us. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. Piss poor service. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. I come here a lot because the food is good. Very disappointing service this time. Once the food was dropped off we did not see the waitress again. Never checked on us to see...if we needed anything else. Finished tea but couldn't get more hot water because the waitress never came to check. The food was dry and I have trouble swallowing we were not offered any water but the couple next to us got water from a different waitress, a good waitress. I had to go to the till to ask for water. The previous waiters were very professional and courteous and made you feel very welcome. The waitress that served us is very unprofessional. We will spread the word about this disappointing experience. Probably won't come back until I hear this waitress is gone.More

We stopped for lunch on a trip back from Lethbridge and had lunch at MacLeod's restaurant. We started with the chicken wings. Good news - no breading. I had the hot wings and my wife had lemon pepper wings. Both were delicious and well prepared...and presented. We then each had a 7th Heaven burger with a die chaser salad. Again the burgers were well presented and wife had a gluten free bun. If you are un Fort MacLeod this is worth a visit.More

This restaurant has been in town for a very long time and has always maintained their quality of food and staff. Great pizza, steak, veal and many others! The girls up front are welcoming, polite and helpful

Veal cutlets for $15! Steak for $20. Super friendly waitress (thanks Melissa!). A must treat in SW Alberta.

This is a nice friendly restaurant, probably the best in Fort MacLeod. We ate there twice and cannot compare with other places but we were well satisfied. The menu is quite extensive.

Arrived at sunset motel looking for a great place to eat, we were referred to this local eatery. Food was really good here, parents had veal cutlets meals which they really enjoyed, I tried the lasagna, and dry ribs which I also enjoyed. Busy place - still everything was under control. Restaurant and bar in the same building. Diner was excellent (Tropical Thai Chicken Breast) with a lot of complementary sides and veggies. Good local beer. Excellent Ceasar’s Salad. Friendly and efficient staff.
