Travelling through and stopped here for lunch. The decor is great, the retaurant is fresh and bright. The food was great. Grilled Cheese and salad was excellent, with salad was very fresh, The Wor Won Ton Soup was delicious and obviously freshly made to order....Just loved this place, will be back when in town again!More
Coming through form Calgary picked up dinner for 6 for the family. Very good and flavourful cuisine. Everything was cooked fresh as I had to wait. Even have authentic Chinese beer. Who doesn’t like an authentic Chinese beer with Chinese food? Would definitely recommend stopping...in. Very satisfying experience. The dry garlic ribs are amazing!!!!More
Great quality food. Just very bland. No spice or flavor. Restaurant very clean. Quick family service. Maybe ask them to spice it up? Would return.
My Wife and I went here for dinner and for various reasons it was 8:00 PM before we arrived to find that we were the only ones there in part because they had changed their closing time from 9:00 PM to 8,30 PM anyway we...were served quickly we each ordered a beer and bbq pork with vegetables and noodles plus ginger beef which was deep fried and not what we expected but still tasted good. The bill was $41.50.More
Had lunch at Johnny's prior to our visit to the Museum. Good food, reasonably priced. Very nice owners. Lunch at Johnny’s... where Kevin Costner just filmed a movie a couple of months ago. In the movie 🎥 it will be known as”Johnny’s Cafe”. The movie...is called “Let Him Go” The owners of the restaurant shared the pictures on their iPad of the crew and also shared stories of the experience with us. So cool!More
My husband and I had a Dinner for Two with ginger beef, a virgin chi-chi and cheesecake for desert. The food was very tasty. The decor is dated but very, very clean and the service is efficient and friendly. We will go back for another...visit the next time we come to Fort Macleod.More
I really enjoyed the spaghetti with meat sauce. Very flavourful. The menu is quite varied, so everyone can find something they will enjoy.
Service was quick and friendly. Good menu selection and pricing. Very clean. Great location close to Fort
we found the chinese food overly salty. The service was good and friendly but the food was very poor.
My wife and I had lunch at Johnny's recently as we passing through Fort Macleod on our way to Calgary. I had a Rueben sandwich and my wife had the Chicken and Cashews with rice, Both meals were very good and reasonably priced. We were...both pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it as the outside appearance is nothing to draw you in. The place was very clean and the waitress was extremely pleasant. No hesitation in recommending it for a nice relaxing lunch.More
We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner for two. Food was very tasty, and plentiful. Other guests also seemed to appreciate the quality of their meal.
A surprisingly good local spot. Family run. Quality homemade food. Menu is half Chinese foods, and the other half is your typical sandwiches, salads, and diner fare. Quality is good and prices are fair.
Hubby and I stopped in spontaneously for supper on a Wednesday. Service was very good. Food came out very fast and was piping hot and delicious. Beer was cold. We each had our own dinner for one - the great egg rolls are obviously made...in-house. Wonton soup was very good. Loved the ginger beef and the deep fried shrimp. Certainly, an eclectic menu, but Johnny is a Red Seal chef who knows what he's doing. (Pasta, burgers, Chinese, fish, steaks) Don't miss checking out the Celebrity wall. Price point was very good.More
I found my combination average while my wife enjoyed her's more. The place was very clean looking and the staff were wonderful.
