Don't order the Big Brigus and Fries. The Chicken was like a blob of breast meat deep fried and then placed on the bun. The meat was not tender and rubbery. I couldn't eat it. The fries looked great but were soft not crispy. My...More

Mom and pop little place. Our server was attentive. We started off with fries that were some of the best I have had. Crispy but soft inside, very tasty too. I was excited to try the Moose stew which was mediocre at best. I had...More

This place is cute, obviously geared towards tourists, but the food and the prices are good enough that locals can eat here on the regular. It's like a Ma & Pa meets Y2K, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My only criticism is the...More

I am a local, and I don’t eat in often, but I do two or three times a year. This time I was Disappointed. I ordered my meal, and didn’t realize that the turkey sandwich was dressed with cranberry mayo sauce. When the server touched...More

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your experience. I will speak to the staff to ensure, they know how to respond more appropriately in the future. Most of our servers are students who don't have much experience in the service industry. But they are all wonderful,...More

We stopped to have a break on our drive and were told about the place down the street. Too much too eat. The onion rings are some of best ever. Dripping in oil so don’t be diet conscious to enjoy these. Then the blueberry crumble...More

We popped into this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of our B&B hostess. I had a "small" bowl of cod chowder that was actually quite large. Cod chowder was a first for me and I loved it. We were there at about an hour...More

Went today for lunch with two friends. First thought was that tables and chairs were dated and mismatched with paint chipping all over the place. This place doesn't have the cozy country feeling like the name suggests. We were told to seat ourselves and it...More

Description
The Country Corner is a locally owned and operated restaurant and gift shop. We have an extensive menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken, fries and much more. We are famous for our Cod Chowder, fish and chips and moose burgers. We use local fish and moose. Many come to visit just for our Blueberry and Partridge Berry Crisps, which are made from local berries. All our soups, chowders and sandwich meats are cooked daily in our kitchen ie: oven roasted turkey and pressure cooked beef and ham. We cater to Celiac and Gluten Free diet by blending our own flours to make the bread for our sandwiches and baked desserts served in our cafe. We have live music on Friday/Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. We also have a 10 oz. steak special on when we have live music.
