This was a pre Christmas family meal and it was underwhelming. It was early evening and the pub was quiet. The food was disappointing. The chicken tikka masala was clearly a pre grilled chicken breast that was served whole with a covering sauce. There was no attempt to cut the chicken and cook it in the sauce. The naan bread... I have had several fantastic roast dinners at the Bulls Head over the past few months. As always, a very generous portion size with lots of meat on the plate accompanied by all the trimmings. I chose gammon this time. Crisp veg and cauliflower cheese were delivered in side dishes to the table. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They... More

Called in for their lunch deal during the week. Quite a good choice but we both chose the battered cod. The tempora batter was ideal and the fish was meaty and of good size. A couple of drinks- between us- and very satisfied. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Lovely food and friendly welcoming staff - in particular the manager. This pub is definitely back on our regular favourites list. The menu is not extensive but the choice is good and the food is very well cooked and presented. The pub decor has been changed and is very tasteful. The staff never rush you and are happy to help.... More

I have stayed here a couple of times in there hotel room and had meals here. The staff here are great. Always accommodating. The meals here are excellent. If you are in the Conventry / Lutterworth area, this is the place to stay and have a meal.

Stayed one night in the pub's B & B room whilst visiting family. We had our evening meal in the pub. Rib-eye steak for me and Lamb's Liver and Bacon from my wife. The steak was cooked to perfection and served with delicious home made chips which were some of the best I've tasted. My wife was equally pleased with... More

Travelling south on the Fosse Way the Bulls Head made a convenient and relaxing place to take time out. Recently re-furbished, the surroundings are relaxing, divided into small areas. We had little time to spare, and appreciated the efficiency of the staff in serving quickly. The quality of the food was not compromised, however, and the menu was very varied. Other... More

We booked The Bulls Head as it's always been my moms favourite place to go....and it certainly did not disappoint. Celebrating my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary there were 16 of us which was not an issue at all. The staff were attentive, food was excellent (Sunday lunch) and service great too. Complementary champagne provided was a nice touch. With regards... More
