Great food and atmosphere! Had a table overlooking the lake. Tried a flight of beer from Broshkung Brewery Co. which is attached and brought home some growlers for later!

Good selection and choice for all pallets. Service was good, pleasant staff, variety of good wine choices, the interior depicts a relaxed, comfortable yet tasteful cottagers décor, a little more upscale than what you'd expect, looking forward to spending some summer eve's here.

Rhubarb was recommended to us by our host at the Wild Swan B&B for a Birthday dinner celebration, and are we ever glad we took that advice! The evening here exceeded our expectations! As a group of 6, each one of us were very pleased with each of our varied appetizers and entrees, all being very fresh and beautifully presented.... More

Honestly, I thought it was a summer market snowed in when I first drove by it. I stopped by because I saw the craft brewing company sign. I stayed because I saw the beautiful dining area and the smell of the food made me hungry. I'm glad I stopped in for lunch. We had burgers which were delicious. Stop in... More

We had a Friday night dinner at this popular restaurant and were delighted with the experience. Although there was a slight issue with the reservation it was quickly addressed. The food is very tasty and served in good portions. The service is friendly and prompt. There are several choices of pork schnitzel; I tried the version with roasted red peppers... More

We had dinner here as 2 couples and apart from a messed up reservation, were very impressed. Good wine list Appetizer of duck poutine was fantastic. Pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce was tasty. Service attentive. Prices somewhat high

Recently visited to celebrate a birthday. Duck poutine is to die for! Menu includes locally sourced ingredients which reflects in the price. Wasn't aware that the location also housed a local brewery (Boshkung Brewery). Had the Kellerbier lager, it was excellent. Returned the next day for lunch. I would highly recommend it if you're in the Haliburton area.

Attended Rhubarb this weekend for a drink while waiting for Pizzas from the downstairs brewery. A group of my medical school colleagues and I had been ice climbing all day, and were excited to sample the local craft beers. The waitress was painfully hesitant to seat us near the bar, and made it very clear that our coat/boot-clad group was... More

Hi Erica I just wanted to let you know that I was there the other day when your group was in and was completely surprised by your review. When your group arrived they were sat immediately at our big group table which is normally reserved but we had a cancellation and were happy to seat you. I can vouch that... More

Stopped in for lunch and sat at the window overlooking a large lake. It was cozy with the stove. The place, during this Friday's visit, was not busy and that suited me after a long drive. The waitress was very nice and the food was very good. There is a small area to purchase items such as preserves. Downstairs is... More

We ordered trout received salmon, waitress said it was still trout and as a chef myself it was rather shocking. potatoes no flavour, no colour on the plate with the schnitzel. portion size was ok but did not meet the $150.00 bill. I won't eat here again

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us. I am sorry you did not enjoy your meal. We use only the freshest and most local ingredients we can and cook every meal from scratch using never frozen or pre prepared items. We usually get rave reviews with our vegetables and particularly the schnitzel as our chef... More
