Amazing place! Owner gave us our meal for free because he had run out of the usual cheese used in the recipe... great service and great food!

This little restaurant was such a surprise. Due to covid, they don't allow customers in the store. But they have cleverly lined up all their baked goods along the window , so that you can walk by and decide what you'd like before you go...to their checkout. We decided on a mixture of raisin, pecan and plain buttertarts for takeout. The pastry almost melted in your mouth, and the tart mixture was sweet but not overly gooey, it was just right. My husband had their B&B breakfast platter. the scrambled eggs were soft and very creamy. They came with a huge side order of perfectly blended sauteed potatoes , that had tiny pieces of bacon that were a nice addition. The final piece of the meal was a savoury scone, that literally melted in your mouth. I decided to try the Mediterranean Benny meal and I was so glad that I did. The spicy harissa hollandise sauce was the perfect topping for the eggs which were poached just right. The avocado and cheese weren't overpowering. The fresh homemade bread was just an added bonus. and it also came with the same sauteed potatoes. The outside tables were clean, and it was nice to overlook the water while eating our meals. The staff were super friendly and even made a special plate of plain scrambled eggs for our Chihuahua so that she wouldn't be left out. Wish it wasn't so far from home, but I would be willing to take the 3 hour drive for another chance to eat their wonderful fresh food.More

Everything is so delicious!! We went here twice while we were in the area for a week! The first time we had fish and chips and it was delicious! The fish wasn’t too greasy or heavily battered and the tartar sauce and coleslaw was delicious!...We also had butter tarts that were amazing! The second time we went we both had the shrimp and clam chowder soup! It was the best soup we’ve ever had! Highly recommended. We also got some chocolate chip cookies which were amazing too! The coffee is also really good. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! It’s a must when visiting Haliburton. Both times we got our food to go and sat at a bench closer to the water!More

Couple enjoyed great halibut dinner on the patio amid COVID-19; food was generous - generous amout of fries - fresh and tasty. Coleslaw is measly portion and not overly fresh - but came with meal. Staff paying attention to COVID protocol - cleaning up and...disinfecting. Place is VERY busy - long line ups as we were leaving - offers takeout as well. Locals keep it hopping. Prices reasonable - and nice to look at lake across road...little noisy but def in the hub of Haliburton for people watching!!!More

Enjoyed some social distancing outdoor seating with a gorgeous view of the lake park. We ordered the scallops, coconut shrimp and ahí tuna salad. All amazing and very fresh. The staff was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Delicious healthy or deep fried style fish and chips! Amazing crab eggs Benedict. My absolute favorite are the fish tacos which are topped with a fresh mango, cilantro salsa!

No license for alcohol, but excellent coffee, teas, and choice of soft drinks. Therefore, this has never been a concern.
