Trattoria is more than just a restaurant, when you go there to eat not only are you receiving fantastic food created with heart, you are sharing an experience with everybody around you, not just yourself but your server and other guests because when you're at...Trattoria you are welcomed with big open arms at any time of day or night whether you come in for a quick bite of calamari or spaghetti Bolognese you will never be disappointed. My most recent visit gave me the absolute best experience I have ever had Period. I came in around 5pm and I was greeted with a great welcoming smile by the hostess and sat down immediately at a table with a gorgeous view of entire place. My server Eric had come over and was extremely knowledgeable about the entire restaurant and knew everything to a T, he showed absolute passion in his job and I can tell he was extremely open and knew how to make somebody laugh. For my appetizer I had started with the Focaccia and the Calamari and I have to say for just some bread it was absolutely delicious, extremely light, firm crispiness to it and It was just an entire compliment to all of my dishes acting as a spoon to scoop pure flavor from everything. My Calamari was fantastic I had never openly tried calamari from a restaurant before and this dish had open my eyes, every bite was just packed full of chewy goodness the breading was such a compliment to it, appetizers were amazing. For my main course because I still felt hungry for more of this amazing flavorful food I had gone for the spaghetti and meatballs. When I had taken my first bite of the spaghetti I felt like I was absolutely in heaven I could tell there was passion going into this dish the noodles were cooked to perfection and felt so silky and delicious, the sauce was smooth and light allowing me to eat as much as possible after diving into this dish I had decided on getting the arancini(fried risotto ball) as a classic Italian dish, when I had cut this dish in half it was absolutely glorious the steam from the mozzarella in the middle had oozed out and it was such a satisfying experience I highly recommend this item. Overall my experience at Trattoria had left me happier than ever before, when I first came into trattoria thinking it was for families I was wrong. You don't have to come in with your own family to have such an experience because once you come in you feel like you're part of the family and as somebody who has only gone by myself I feel like this restaurant has nailed a home feel with comfort food. Excellent food and service .. my sister and I went for lunch today..our server, Brittany Dawn was exceptional . She truly made our experience extra special with her warm, friendly greeting and throughout our time there. . We shared a caprese salad and prosciutto/arugula pizza...with a burrata type creamy mozzarella cheese .. delicious. Always consistently good the other times so have dined here , but today was extra special with the care and attention we got from Brittany.. please pass on our gratitude , she will remember us as D&D !!More

I recently hosted a 50th birthday party for a friend here at Trattoria. It was a HUGE hit! We were up in the upper level, covered patio complete with heat lamps. Everyone complimented me on my choice of restaurant. The staff was warm, helpful, accommodating...and kind. The room itself was perfect (in fact we had to turn the heaters off in the middle of January!), and the food was delicious!! I heard that everyone loved everything! Went back there for my birthday dinner with my husband. We were put on the second floor which was intimate. It serves as an outdoor patio during the summer. My husband had the meat ball pasta dish. He said that it was the best meat...balls he has ever eaten! Better that mine :( I had the margarita pizza their tomato sauce is so tasty!More

We enjoyed the restaurant with nice decoration, easy parking in the Park Royal Mall at West Vancouver, polite staff and delicious dishes! see the photos. We went for lunch during weekday and it is recommended!

Had a wonderful meal. Share and anti pasti platter and margarita pizza to start. All spectacular. Then the pasta platter... wow amazing. Our server Cory was great, pleasant and accommodating but never intrusive. The owner and managers both stopped by to check on us. We...felt like royalty.More

We ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter and was informed later that the ingredients changed. It was awful and our server lack such a professional edicate. She was too busy talking to her peers about vulgur subjects. We had to wait 10 minutes before...being greeted until the host reminded her. Our table had so many dirty dishes that needed to be gone. Trattoria at Park Royal is fantastic! I have never had anything but tremendous food and first rate service. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and served by attentive and very pleasant staff. "Michel" oversees the entire restaurant with an experienced and professional eye and ensures...that the food, wine, and service are all impeccable. The menu is varied and the wine list extensive. It is hard to beat their specials on Tuesdays and more specials on Wednesdays. Dining upstairs is intimate, cozy an fun, while on the main floor diners can watch the shoppers walk by with their treasures. You will find Trattoria, Park Royal will become one of your favourite dining spots, like it has for the West Vancouver, in the "know" crowd.More
