Lunch on a Friday was a good idea. A 5oz glass of house red with a big serving of meaty pasta was enjoyable. All for $13 each and we brought the rest home. 50% off on Fridays for lunch. Can’t beat that! And service was great. They also offer 50% discounts on Tuesdays all day. Make a reservation on these days.

My boyfriend brought me here for Valentine's Day dinner and they were very quick to seat us as we arrived (we did have a reservation but sometimes it takes longer). The atmosphere was great and the location is so convenient in Park Royal. The food was delicious, as I've experienced at the Kitsilano Trattoria location, and the signature drink they had for Valentine's Day, P.S. I Love You, was amazing!! Wish it was always there. The highlight of the night, though, was the service. Our server Reiko was totally amazing and so much fun to talk to throughout the night. We'll definitely be stopping by again on our way to/from Whistler.

You’d hardly expect to find an excellent restaurant in the middle of a shopping centre but Trattoria in Park Royal is a rare exception. I’ve eaten here dozens of times with family and friends and it is a consistently excellent experience every time. They deliver superb italian staples by using simple preparations and fresh ingredients. They offer fun and very reasonably priced daily specials. They have also been very responsible in following Covid protocols so you feel safe in this restaurant. So happy with this restaurant that I have plans to meet a friend at Trattoria this week!

Great atmosphere, friendly service. The have big barrels and wine bottle decorations. Standard food overall. A good choice for when shopping at Park Royal. The beef carpaccio was most outstanding, the fried beignets on the other hand was a bit disappointing. Could have used a bit more sauce or ice cream even, felt really dry. The lamb shank was good, and fall off the bone, but could use a bit more spice and flavour.
The servers and host were all very attentive, but the tables were a bit tight to each other (before covid). Overall was a good experience and will be returning again.

So many great menu items with impeccable service.
The manager makes certain to touch base and chat to make sure that the experience was enjoyable and met our expectations. Veal chop, branzino and pizza are great. Brussel sprout appetizer is exceptional and a great bargain at Happy Hour for $5.

We ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter and was informed later that the ingredients changed. It was awful and our server lack such a professional edicate. She was too busy talking to her peers about vulgur subjects. We had to wait 10 minutes before being greeted until the host reminded her. Our table had so many dirty dishes that needed to be gone. Don’t recommend.

My friends and I came here to celebrate a retirement. I've passed by this place many times but was waiting for an occasion so this was it. We were all craving Italian food and were just in time for Happy Hour which was a bonus. My friends ordered pizza (one hawaiian and one funghi. I got the Linguine alfredo. Everything tasted amazing, nicely cooked, full of flavour and our server was friendly and attentive. The pizzas were larger than expected so worth it for Happy Hour. The Funghi was the favorite, we all loved how well the white sauce goes with the ham and veggies. A must try! The restaurant itself has both a modern and cozy look. We also got a visit from the owner at the end which was a nice surprise. We all had a pleasant experience & will definitely come back.

Trattoria at Park Royal is fantastic! I have never had anything but tremendous food and first rate service. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and served by attentive and very pleasant staff. "Michel" oversees the entire restaurant with an experienced and professional eye and ensures that the food, wine, and service are all impeccable. The menu is varied and the wine list extensive. It is hard to beat their specials on Tuesdays and more specials on Wednesdays. Dining upstairs is intimate, cozy an fun, while on the main floor diners can watch the shoppers walk by with their treasures. You will find Trattoria, Park Royal will become one of your favourite dining spots, like it has for the West Vancouver, in the "know" crowd.

Trattoria is more than just a restaurant, when you go there to eat not only are you receiving fantastic food created with heart, you are sharing an experience with everybody around you, not just yourself but your server and other guests because when you're at Trattoria you are welcomed with big open arms at any time of day or night whether you come in for a quick bite of calamari or spaghetti Bolognese you will never be disappointed. My most recent visit gave me the absolute best experience I have ever had Period. I came in around 5pm and I was greeted with a great welcoming smile by the hostess and sat down immediately at a table with a gorgeous view of entire place. My server Eric had come over and was extremely knowledgeable about the entire restaurant and knew everything to a T, he showed absolute passion in his job and I can tell he was extremely open and knew how to make somebody laugh. For my appetizer I had started with the Focaccia and the Calamari and I have to say for just some bread it was absolutely delicious, extremely light, firm crispiness to it and It was just an entire compliment to all of my dishes acting as a spoon to scoop pure flavor from everything. My Calamari was fantastic I had never openly tried calamari from a restaurant before and this dish had open my eyes, every bite was just packed full of chewy goodness the breading was such a compliment to it, appetizers were amazing. For my main course because I still felt hungry for more of this amazing flavorful food I had gone for the spaghetti and meatballs. When I had taken my first bite of the spaghetti I felt like I was absolutely in heaven I could tell there was passion going into this dish the noodles were cooked to perfection and felt so silky and delicious, the sauce was smooth and light allowing me to eat as much as possible after diving into this dish I had decided on getting the arancini(fried risotto ball) as a classic Italian dish, when I had cut this dish in half it was absolutely glorious the steam from the mozzarella in the middle had oozed out and it was such a satisfying experience I highly recommend this item. Overall my experience at Trattoria had left me happier than ever before, when I first came into trattoria thinking it was for families I was wrong. You don't have to come in with your own family to have such an experience because once you come in you feel like you're part of the family and as somebody who has only gone by myself I feel like this restaurant has nailed a home feel with comfort food. Thank you Trattoria for this amazing experience, I will be back soon, hungry for more.

As regular customers in the past, we decided to order delivery via Door Dash this eve.
Our Caprese salad and my husband's entree were great. My lamb shank was, for lack of a better word, awful......whole dish was under-cooked and soaking in a fatty oil. Called restaurant and while they tried to 'make things right', blamed it on Door Dash and made it our problem.
Not happy.

Wonderfull rooftop patio during "no dine in".
Beef Carpaccio was flavourful and the Linguine Carbonara made in true Italian style, not with cream. Our first Glowbal group restaurant we visited and many more to come. Cannot wait to go back.

"Dining at this Italian restaurant was a delightful experience, made even better by the exceptional service provided by our server assistant, Dylan. From the moment we walked in, Dylan made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The food was amazing, with authentic Italian flavors and beautifully presented dishes, but it was Dylan's warm personality and attention to detail that truly made the evening memorable. His passion for the restaurant and the food shone through, and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. A big shout-out to Dylan for making our night unforgettable. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and service!"

We were celebrating our friend's 83rd birthday tonight. The owner Mike and the entire staff were so accommodating and friendly and gave my friend such a warm and happy time. The food was phenomenal as usual but the steak was outstanding! We come regularly because the food is ALWAYS good and the pasta is the best in town! Watch out for their daily special on the menu and surprise yourself. Vancouverites are so lucky to have such a well-run restaurant with consistently good food on the menu. Kudos!

Great place for good food. They are underseasoned, but its good for every ones taste. Kitchen cooks laugh and talk a lot, but they cook good food. Front servers are nice, they were very welcoming. Try their pasta trio. 3 types of pasta in one plate.

This was a popular place with us, pre-COVID. Went for lunch on a Friday during the cold spell. Seated next the drafty windows in a sparsely filled restaurant. Kept our outdoor clothes on, as did most others. Had a light lunch, Spaghetti Carbonara came overcooked, gummy, sauce was OK. Caesar Salad with Prawns, salad wilted, prawn side dish cool and tasteless. Wanted a hot coffee, settled for an americano which also arrived somewhat later, and lukewarm. Staff seemed aware of poor meal, but we wanted out as quickly as possible.
