We just finished the most amazing meal from Terroir Kitchen at home. The food was spectacular. Highly recommended

We've been having a Christmas Eve family dinner at Terrior for a few years now. Never disappointed! Best on the North Shore in my opinion. Outstanding food, great service and nice ambience. Every dish exquisite, difficult to pick a favorite. Generous portions, loved them all....The winter beet salad, the berrata, the octopus, pork cheeks, excellent risotto, Cornish hen, wonderfully plentiful skirt steak and the elk tagliatelle with home made noodles. I would prefer to see more BC wines on the wine list. We were able to select a nice French red. Kudos to Faisal for continuing to be a top choice!! Many thanks!!More

We went for dinner Sunday evening and it was not busy at all. We both commented that, if it were better located nearer to Park Royal, there would be a lineup. We started with the Beet Salad which was exceptional. The mains were Risotto which...was the best we had ever had and the Skirt Steak which , unfortunately was abad cut and too tough to cut or eat. The broccoli and potatoes were fantastic however. The owner/chef was very kind and removed the skirt steak from the bill.We have friends who said the skirt steak was fabulous and tender so we will chalk it up to a bad cut. The doesn't take away from the fact that perhaps the chef should sample cuts before serving this aprticular dish or change to a more reliable cut. The high prices would seem to be able to absorb a better cut. All in all a very enjoyable meal.More

Great patio with a view of the water. Menu is an assortment of different sizes of plates meant to be shared. Octopus was cooked to perfection (not a hint of chewiness) but you have to enjoy chickpeas for that dish. Focaccia was good, but really...needed a little more on the plate like balsamic or more oil - otherwise it was just grilled fresh bread. The skirt steak was the winner, nicely cooked and accompanied by delicious fingerling potatoes, red peppers, and house-pickled onions - generously sized and very shareable. The 'happy hour' was a bit confusing for us, as there are definitely drink specials, but the food just seemed to be a subset of their menu that they could produce without impact on the kitchen, rather than HH specials? They need to make it more understandable for customers.More

This was one of the best meals I've ever shared. Our waiter was very helpful and gave in depth descriptions of the dishes, both as we ordered and as they were served. Starting with the salad, we were each enthralled by the variety of preparations...and flavors we experienced. The whole ocean perch was picked clean in minutes, amid good conversation and laughter. Our time spent could not have been more enjoyable. It was the perfect end to a day of exploring the Squamish area as we returned to Vancouver.More

Our dining experience, to Terroir Kitchen, was a first for the four of us last evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the recommended burrata, charred octopus, grilled cornish hen, risotto, crispy fingerling potatoes and the delicious melt-in-your-mouth chocolate pave. Each shared dish was exquisitely presented and filled...with flavour. Our server Craig, was knowledgeable and passionate about the food. He delivered the plates individually so that we could fully appreciate each one. We would highly recommend this restaurant for an exceptional food experience. The North Shore is lucky to have this restaurant in their neighbourhood.More

Terroir has a great happy hour from 3pm to 6pm which includes a special menu with a lot of choices. Wine prices are reasonable and service is excellent. Had the burrata on both visits and also enjoyed the skirt steak and the eggplant appy.

Went to this restaurant for the first time for a family celebration. Each dish we had was excellent, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The eggplant polenta dish, the broccoli side, the skirt steak, octopus, flourless chocolate cake- all delicious. Lovely waiter too, very knowledgeable...about the dishes. Highly recommend!More

First time at this restaurant. The brocali, scallops, octopus and lamb ragu we had were delicious. The service was very good. Nice clean restaurant in good location in West Van. With a bottle of wine this is a high end meal but worth it for...the quality.More
