During this virus,this wonderful place lets you order pies online and they will deliver.
The strawberry rhubarb pie is always my favourite and it is wonderful to have it delivered to your front door.
Great friendly service and the pies are still as delicious as ever!!

Our first time at the meat pie company and did not disappoint. We had the beef pie and a wonderful blueberry buttermilk cake . The Americano Coffe was also excellent.
A bit pricey for what it is , but worth trying it. Small restaurant to eat in, and you can also do take out.Very popular and very busy, staff seems a bit overwhelmed.
In a very pretty location and you can walk around the area by the water with great views.Also outside tables available.

You have to go to Savary Island in the morning for an espresso and a piece of pie or scone!!! Omgoodness it is the best!! I loved the raspberry rhubarb pie with cream ice cream YUM!! The other bonus is the view of the Inlet- it’s breathtaking and serene. The airy vibe with awesome tunes playing adds to the experience. Highly recommend.

This company seems to have lost its way in terms of customer service. I have been trying for two days to place an order for pies to take to an event on Sunday morning. My repeated phone calls during their business hours have gone unanswered and the "chat" function mentioned on their website doesn't exist. One cannot even leave a voice message on their phones. I have long felt that their pies, although delicious, are over-priced. It is time to seek out an alternative source of baked goods.

Expensive and pretentious. We Ordered lumberjack egg breakfast and my scramed eggs were not cooked through. There were some random sliced tomatoes and cheese placed on my plate for over $25. We ordered some bakery items to share: lavender scones were drenched in sugar glaze and tasted terrible. The apply pie was just okay. The chocolate chip cookie was meh. Not sure how you can fail on so many lovable classics but it's a hard pass for me. Skip it, wish I had of read the reviews before wasting money here.

Do not try to do a takeout fresh baked tourtiere. Savory Island Pie Co used to be a terrific little place to pick up a fresh made pie. After today’s experience I will not be coming back. I planned my dinner party around their fresh made tourtiere which I have had before and I preordered by phone to be sure it would be fresh. When I arrived to pick it up on the day of my event at the time I was told it would be ready I was presented with a weeks old frozen pie . Apparently there were no fresh tourtieres made that day. If I had wanted a frozen pie I would have purchased at Safeway. The whole point of doing takeout is to get it freshly baked. I was very unhappy and disappointed as this pie was for our family Christmas dinner..an annual event. The management did not seem to grasp the point. Online it says the pie is fresh baked. The person I spoke with said it was fresh out of the oven. Neither turned out to be true. This was not acceptable. If not for my dinner party I would not have purchased the frozen substitution. I have been a longtime customer of this restaurant and I do think things have changed in recent months. Things are definitely not as they once were. Management were very casual about the situation and said oh well. I would tell you to take a pass on Savoury Island.Pie Co. I will.

Service was very poor. Lady at order counter was chatting up a man in our queue and several of us waited forever as he proceeded to show photos on his phone and tell his life story. Lady at takeout counter didn’t seem to be concerned that many of us were waiting in the cold (there is no dine-in, only a take out line outside the front of the shop in the open air). Then another lady at the shop took the order of the person behind us instead of us, even though we were next in line. And when we finally got our turn the lady at the order counter was rude. There are other places with pies and baked items just as good. Will not order from this place again.

Stopped by for a takeout soup. Prices are astronomical for mundane fare. $13 or so (not including tax and tip) for a smallish soup in a coffee cup, no less. No utensils. Waited 20 minutes after ordering to get even that. Plenty of staff doing whatever. Place was not fully seated, but busy. Obviously others found it of acceptable value to drop by for a bite. I find there are better choices in Ambleside. Service is cutesy but very slow and inept. Limited menu.

Thanksgiving 2021. Our family has been enjoying their pies for years. Christmas and Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without them. But this year they changed recipe of their pumpkin pie and for the first time we ate something from Savary Island pie company that tasted horrible! What were they things?!

Too bad this place is marred by one bad server and her name is Annie. The food is great and the coffee is one of the best in the city. The servers are always happy to serve you with a smile except for Annie. I’ve never met someone who is so rude and sarcastic to their customers and that was my experience with her today. If you can avoid Annie then enjoy some pie and coffee. If not, the coffee will taste a bit more bitter.

Picked up 2 small chicken pies for $22 each and totally disappointed with the lack of chicken. Too pricey for what
you are getting!! Crust and filling tasted good, but this was basically a vegetable pie!!

We were so surprised and impressed to find this fabulous restaurant has just opened in Tofino! The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! We can’t think of a better place in Tofino to enjoy the best coffee and croissants! The view of the harbour is spectacular!

I come here for a scone and a coffee before hitting the seawall for a long walk. They make the scones just the way they should be made, not many places do. I can't comment on the pie as I have not tried it, but if you are a scone lover, this is the place for you!

Something about this place is so heart warming and cozy. Super excited that they have now opened a retail store next door.
Only downside is that they are a small place so it fills up quickly but that almost adds to its rustic charm.

Super slow service, actually they forgot my order, no apology. I had no time to eat it so they packaged it to go and the portion was 1/2 the size if I were to have eaten it there. Instead it was about 1/2 c of cold soup for $10. Disappointing!
