I ordered a 11" Farmer pizza for pickup. People were nice enough but really, why would you let a pizza like that out the door? I could smell it was burnt when I drove home. The edge of the crust was burnt and too hard...to eat. Everything tasted burnt and awful. You owe me another pizza.More

We ordered takeout and were very impressed with then marinara flatbread and hot n’ spicy along with a Caesar salad. My husband said it was the best pizza he had since we were in Italy in 2014. Service at pickup was also very friendly. We...will visit again before we leave Cochrane or when we return later this year.More

Finally went to Community Flatbread for dinner after hearing nothing but good things, and was blown away. The interior is beautiful, service was friendly and attentive, and the food was beyond expectations. House made pappardelle bolognese with garlic foccacia was the best pasta I've ever...had. 10/10 would recommendMore

Decided to check out this fairly new restuarant in town after hearing about how community minded they had been during the COVID lockdown. We booked a table due to COVID and asked for near the fire. Menu is good, simple flat bread, few pizza and...pasta dishes. There were desserts but we chose not to have one. We had a large flatbread and had two different choices and then had a salad to share. More than enough for the two of us. Local draft beer finished off the meal. Staff were excellent, all wearing masks. Tables were all nicely spaced out. Noticed that they had a childrens flatbread. Atmosphere was good, and seemed quite busy for a thursday night. Great place to go for a meal with family and friends and chat as there are no Tvs to distract you. We enjoyed ourselves so much last week that we went again this week. Both visits were excellent.More

Had the most amazing Dinner, drinks and experience on the Community Patio. My husband got the 420 flatbread and it was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. I ordered the Carbonara and wanted to lick the plate. Handmade pasta, sauce to die for, kale,...fresh egg. A must try. And we both agreed that the Mac and cheese we shared at our table was not only creamy & delicious, but the marinara served with it made it unique and absolute perfection!!! The venue, service and drinks were all equally impressive!!More

We're fortunate in Cochrane, Alberta that food is taken seriously. I live with walking distance of two exceptional eateries specializing in Italian inspired cuisine. The unique feature of Community Flatbread Co. is that they use an enormous wood fired oven to cook much of their...food. When they are operating (somewhat limited hours during COVID), one notices the wonderful fragrance of a wood fire and delicious food cooking from about half a block away! For me, the "acid test" of a great pizza is the most basic pizza possible, Pizza Margherita. It's quite simple but requires an extremely hot oven and exceptional ingredients: a great dough, a rich tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, a few leaves of basil, and high grade olive oil. Community Flatbread's crust is heavenly. Lots of air pockets and scoring from the wood fire. Their take on this Italian classic added fresh Roma tomato slices. As a pizza purist, my preference would have been to have a little more thick Roma tomato sauce instead of the fresh tomatoes on top. Usually, fresh is good, but greenhouse tomatoes simply lack the concentrated flavour of processed tomato sauce. But that said, this is more of a matter of personal preference. I had a pint of craft beer. It's great to see to restaurants supporting local cottage breweries. We're all in this together with COVID which makes local even more important. I'll be back!More

Our first family outing since covid. Staff were taking all of the precautions. We felt safe taking our kids there and my picky toddler loved his cheese pizza. They expanded their menu since our last visit. Plenty of pizza and pasta items. Salads too! They...also have a new patio which is beautiful. It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy it, but we will be back for sure.More

Nice addition to Cochrane that is not a chain restaurant. Limited menu... which I like. Flatbreads are excellent and so the pasta. Offer takeout as well. Very nice atmosphere and family friendly.

Visited on March 9th. I had the bruschetta and lina's anthem pizza. The theatrics of watching your pizza being prepared in the dining room and the chef's sending it makes this place unique. The wood fire smell from the oven in the dining room ramps...up the anticipation for the food. And the garlic! oh my, the roasted, creamy, savoury whole garlic on the pizza was impressive.More

Awesome food and a great atmosphere. Service was friendly. Watching them prepare and bake the flatbread in the stone oven was so interesting. Was an awesome experience and something different. Would definitely go again.
