Excellent staff! So friendly and approachable. Anything you would need on your vacation. Great deli and bakery selection. Did I mention the staff - excellent greeter! :)

I accidentally forgot to bring my mask with me. They denied me entry and I am thankful for that. I'm very glad they are taking the pandemic seriously and had no problem going back to my hotel to retrieve one of my masks.

Ucluelet’s Co-Op is impressive on many levels - its community-ownership structure, terrific selection of foods, & range of departments it has serving the needs of this 1,700-strong West Coast, Vancouver Island, ocean community, known to locals as Ukee. This current Coronavirus crisis has it building...on its already good reputation, instituting practices, that support staff & customers alike. The Co-Op is now closed on Sundays, allowing staff to restore their energies; seniors & first responders are able to shop at the start of the day from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., allowing them the security & peace of mind which comes with having less customers in the store, & the store closes for daily sanitization & restocking from 12:30 to 2 p.m., then staying open until 6 p.m. Online orders can be placed for delivery, which had been beefed up with volunteers & all orders must be placed before 4 p.m. My son & his family are in two-week quarantine after returning from a holiday over the spring break, & it is a great relief to know they are able to procure food without having to leave home. I have bought a great range of things from the CO-OP, over the some 12 years I have been visiting this stunning location, from flip flops, toys for my two, wonderful grandchildren, to great cheeses, along with good produce, meats, breads & deli items. They stock a number of things usually more closely associated with speciality grocers, such as WholeFoods, & I am told they will bring in requests, if they are able to. I believe it now stocks British-favorite, Marmite, on request, a very healthy vegetarian spread, which one either really loves or really dislikes. My Ukee family of four is split down the middle; two for, two against. So thanks to the CO-OP & thanks to the volunteers, Ukee is an impressive community, pulling together in a most impressive way. The chicken and chip are better than KFC and much lower price. You can eat them in house or take out.

We visited the Co-op a couple of times during or stay in Ucluelet. Great range goods and quality of food.

Stopped in to grab dinner. Very place.Good selection,have some hot food ready to eat.We were very pleased with selection here.

We went in the morning to get some baked goods. At 10am the bakery had just started baking. i am not sure why that is but most bakerys start early. Good selection overall otherwise.

Fun exploring what they had in their store. This visit was particularly exciting (a grocery store exciting???) YES EXCITING when you haven’t been in a grocery store for almost a month as we’ve been circumnavigating Vancouver Island. Loaded up with food and had a wonderful...employee drive boxes of groceries to the marina we were at. He was friendly and helpful!!More

The co-op has everything you need....picked up all our suppers there while staying in Ucluelet ... ....plus need anything else ?....co-op proabably has it. Very nice helpful staff.

Clean tidy and well stocked - unfortunately not everything you may be used to finding in your usual grocery store. No complaints!

They offer a large variety of foods, especially for as remote an area as the peninsula. They are very much like a regular super market with a few specialty items. I wish they had offered more organic type produce, but we made do. I have...to eat grain free, dairy free, nut free, and they still had enough options that I was able to feed myself and spouse.More

On a budget making your own food is an option or purchasing take out from the store. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access and parking. Bring your own bags !
