Excellent food, drinks and service in this family run business. The twice baked soufflé and rabbit terrine were superb as was the duck, seafood platter and trout special. Definitely go.

The food was spectacular, the ambiance was very Toronto, and tasty drinks were amazing. Must go!!!!!
Very surprising really; this was one of the few places we could get into in Picton yet turned out to be a fantastic meal and atmosphere. The food was second to none, the creme briolles was one of the best we have tasted, and the...min courses left us wanting nothing! Definitely recommend this place!More
Amazing food. Lovely ambience and great, friendly service. This is upscale dining with an incredible and interesting menu. My guess is there’s isn’t any dish on the menu that isn’t delicious. Cap of your meal with an espresso martini!!!
The location is convenient although no views, other than of parking lots. However, that was quickly forgotten. We were warmly greeted, and everyone on staff had a perfect mix of friendliness, charm and professionalism. The food was exraordinarily good - as some other reviewers mention,...a bit pricey but when it is this quality, I dont mind. The chowder was wonderful, creamy with charred fresh corn and clams. The oysters very nicely presented and properly cleand and shucked. A halibut cake was the best fish cake I have ever had! The braised rabbit pasta was beautifully prepared, and we shared a lemon dessert for a perfect finish.More
We were on a weekend-getaway and had dinner here. Service was amazing and food as delicious! I am a picky vegetarian and our waiter (sorry-don't know his name) was fantastic at making recommendations. My husband loved is meal as well.
We did not have a reservation and we tried to find a restaurant in Picton. This was the only one we could get a table after 8h30 on a Thursday. We waited one hour for our table but it was so worth it. Our food...was so delicious! The halibut with saffron rice and curry sauce were just to die for! The best meal we had in a long time! The service was great! We highly recommend this place!More
Delicious share plates, great cocktails, and great service, but a bit on the expensive side. Would still recommend.
The food is excellent. Price is fair for upscale dining... We were out on he patio and it started to pour..staff did everything to make it a dry experience.
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in The County. Superb and original food. Great wine list. Expert service. Highly Recommended!
The restaurant is nice and clean the service is friendly and the food is really Good I had the beef and broccoli
FANTASTIC DINING at Hartley's. Three of us went last night and we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, main courses and dessert. The sparkling wine, white & red wine were all tasty. The sparkling wine could have been colder and sometimes it was hard to understand...our server. More because of the mask and the restaurant was quite "loud." Every guest seemed to enjoy themselves. We will be back regardless. It was our third time.More
This was the first restaurant we visited in Prince Edward County during our four day vacation, and it set the tone for the rest of our trip. Our server was polite, accommodating and suggested gluten-free offerings that suited my needs. The atmosphere, food, music and...service were excellent! We will return one day to the County and will come back to Hartleys Tavern in Picton.More
An excellent find Great service (ask for Harry or Steph) and awesome quality of food. We ate on the deck on a beautiful August Night. Food pairing was right on target. We shared oysters as an appetizer followed by Steak with Mole sauce and Lobster...in a cream sauce. I would recommend the rabbet and gnocchis too.More
Quaint, rustic restaurant. I am quite fussy about the wine I like and couldn’t find anything on the menu that appealed to me. The waitress suggested a wine (which I believe they usually only sell by the bottle), Three Dogs Riesling, and brought me a...glass. I absolutely loved it! She really went above and beyond to make me happy We had coquille St. Jacques and crab salad for appetizers and the flank steak for our main course. The food was amazing. It was cooked to perfection and a really nice twist from your average steak. I had the lemon tart (I think they called it something else) and it was heavenly. The service was good. We were not rushed. Overall a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely return.More
