Cake shop located in beautiful Prince Edward County. We specialize in artisan custom cakes, cupcakes, cake donuts, truffles, high tea and sandwhiches. Butter Dream Cakes are designed with details to give your celebration a focal point that is delightful to the eye as well as your taste buds. Made by hand, we make our cakes from scratch with delicious, fresh buttercream, fondant and edible paint.

Right on Main St, Picton with shade and picnic tables to enjoy these amazing treats. The birthday cake donut was fabulous and the best macaroons I've had outside of France. Place your orders or just drop in like we did, worth the drive to Picton.

I placed an order online as there is no phone number offered and you can only stop in on Saturdays. Chose cake flavour, size, frosting etc. order was successfully submitted but I never got a confirmation. I emailed them a couple of days later and got a message that they are too busy to fill my order. It would have been nice to get immediate notification. Now I have to find an alternative cake. Very frustrating.

Hello, sorry I missed your review and couldn’t fill your order. Unfortunately summer months tend to be very busy do to wedding orders and peek tourist season so I require weeks notice. Before filling out an inquiry form you can view my next available order date above the form so you can see before you fill out the form if I will be available to take your order. The form is just to make an inquiry and your order will not be confirmed until I send you a completed order form with a deposit. I hope I can serve you in the future without frustration.

This little hidden gem sells cupcakes, cakes, brownies, scones, macarons, ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, high tea, lunch options, local good , and so much more! Located right on the Main street it is a perfect spot to have high tea, lunch, or just a nice treat.
Everything is homemade and the shop looks like youre sitting in a cupcake. Lots of seating as well - both inside and outside.
If youre looking for custom cakes or dessert orders she also does that as well.

Meganne at Butterdream cakes is absolutely amazing.If in Picton you need to stop by for some yummy treats from her cupcakes to her brownies this girl is super talented
