We were there for breakfast during our way to sandbanks and we really enjoyed the breakfast with a view to the harbour. The breakfast was very good, especially the pancakes, bacon and fries.
I give a 4/5 because the waiting time before you get a table was a bit longer, but afterwards everything was served quickly.
We will come back again.

Breakfast was the only meal I had there and it was terrific. Real grilled potatoes, eggs cooked perfectly, extra long breakfast sausage and toast for under $10. More food than I could eat. Staff were terrific - efficient, friendly, happy. I think they could have used another server, but I know it is hard to get staff right now, and the hostess and (I assume) a manager were pitching in to help. Lots of locals were there too. This will be my go to place for breakfast when in Picton, and I definitely would try it for other meal times also.

We had the fish and chips, one with fries, one with onion rings and enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was set up and operating under the COVID19 restrictions which were well-managed and respected by both staff and guests. A nice family style restaurant. Our server was very friendly and we had a great time there.

We were looking forward to have brunch at the lighthouse restaurant in picton as we read some good reviews but were very disappointed with the service we received. There were 3 tables with their food when we arrived we asked do you seat yourself, the lady at the desk said yes have a seat so we chose a table the waitress Lacey came over greeted us and gave us menus we ordered our beverages right away then she said she would be back in a moment with them. Two other tables came in after us she brought menus to them, that is fine we then though she would be right over with our beverages after she dropped the menus to them we were also ready to order our food as well but she did not come back she then brought the drinks to the two new tables, we thought we would love our beverages we could not get her attention as she is laughing so loudly and chatting with the new table she then takes their food order when she walked away from their table I managed to get her attention and ask for our drinks again and said we would like to place our food order. She said oh sorry I will be back with your drinks in a moment but then went over to the other new table that came in after us and takes their food order so now both of the tables that came in after us have their drinks and ordered their food she then came over with our drinks and took our order we really felt ignored It seemed like she knew the 2 new tables so she gave them preference which is terrible customer service. Through out our time there eating she continues to go over to the other tables laughing so loudly we had to stop our conversation as we could not hear each other speak so that did not make a very pleasant atmosphere. This was our first time dining there and with our experience being so annoying and negative we have no intention of going back. I understand servers make mistakes sometimes but Lacey never made up for her lack of professionalism.

Went in for a late breakfast yesterday morning - so we knew we would have to wait.
Once seated, our server Jeremy looked more preoccupied serving other people than us. We noticed other people coming in after us, sitting after us, ordering after us and getting served food before us.
The wait for food was longer than it should of been.
Not even a heart felt apology was given, just the standard “sorry for the wait”

We spent a weekend in a Picton at Lake on the Mountain Resort and were hoping to find a place for breakfast as most eat in locations are closed due to covid 19. Found the Lighthouse restaurant and beyond happy to eat here. We ordered our breakfast and sat at the harbour behind the restaurant. They had placed a number of picnic tables for patrons to use. The server brought our morning coffees and let us know when food was ready. So nice to eat a full classic breakfast enjoying the view of the harbour and boats. Had to do it again the next morning. Food was delicious and service great.

What a disappointment!
Rated #2 in Picton and staying at the Harbour Inn, we were so looking forward to a great breakfast place after sub par experiences so far during our trip.
The place is popular and small so waiting does not seem unusual.
My wife ordered the pancakes which were acceptable, I ordered the veggie Egg’s Benedict. Served on a slice of not quite ripe tomato with sliced cheddar cheese, let’s just say it did not leave a lasting impression. Coffee was average. Price range was middle of the road.

Just came back from one of the best breakfasts ever! I had the Lulu sandwich, grilled bread with ham and cheese with an omelette in between and home fries with coffee were included. The sandwich was so big I took half home for lunch. My wife had the Sunday special, real smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, holandaise sauce, home fries and coffee. My wife said it was the best breakfast ever! The restaurant was spotless, the bathrooms pristine, the service fantastic and of course the food was outstanding. Prices are reasonable with our bill just under $28.00. One note: this restaurant is very busy at times. Preference is given to guests of the hotel which is quite fair. Go early but even then you might have a delay. Can’t wait to go back for lunch!

I had a great day touring the north and eastern 'arm' of Prince Edward County and as I was documenting my delights of the day, I added this as a postscript: "the delightful Jeremy at the Lighthouse Restaurant made breakfast one of the highlights of this Tuesday! He’s efficient, personable, fun and as I stated, began my day on a very positive note. He gets his own star on Trip Advisor." And just to be clear, breakfast WAS great...classic breakfast, including tea, $11.24 with tax.

Your basic breakfast place - no better or worse. Great location on the water. After ordering, breakfast took a very long time to arrive. We came back the next day and gave our name for the list and they wound up half following the list and half not, so people were seated ahead of us that had arrived after us, which was incredibly frustrating and we would up leaving after having waited in line for an hour.

The lighthouse was a decent experience for dinner. Pretty location but it was dark when we went. Came from out of town, felt welcome by the front staff and waitress. Customers were local and gave off unwelcoming stares. Food was good for the price, very reasonable. If you are looking for cheap diner food it is a good option. They are very covid prepared with curtains between every booth.

I love this place. The portion of each dish was huge. The service was super good. I only saw two girls waiting on probably 7-10 tables, but they were working really hard and the quality of the service was definitely not compromised. I ordered the chicken salad wrap and it was delicious! I recommend this place for sure for a casual and friendly meal!

Went here with 4 friends (5 ladies) and enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The waitress was excellent and very accommodating to dietary requirements. This is not a 'cheap' breakfast but value for your money type. Sunday morning it was very busy and they accurately determined the wait time and allowed you to do what you needed during that time as they called you via phone when table was ready.

The restaurant was short-staffed when we visited, and they were sooo busy! But the waitress was so pleasant and the experience was wonderful. We placed our order inside and went outside to eat at a picnic table by the water. It was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. My husband had the fish and chips, and it was ‘just okay’ for him - but we’re from a coastal area, so we may be a little hard to please in the seafood department! ;) I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was perfect. Great experience with reasonable prices.

Yes please change your coffee supplier...I cannot drink it...its like acid. So after you reopen again in the spring I'll come back and try it. PLEASE CHANGE IT!!!
