We ordered a 2PC Halibut and a milk shake to share. The owner was nice enough to split the order in 2 servings for us. The fish was fresh, crispy and light. Good side of tartar sauce.

Eaten here a couple of times, and will return. Soft drink prices are a little high, but that's a trifle. The New England style clam chowder is definitely one of the better ones I've had, and I've had a lot!

We read so many positive reviews about this place that we decided to try it when we were in Picton. As soon as we sat down, we noticed the lack of cleanliness everywhere. Ketchup decorated the underside of the railing by our table and the ketchup bottles have not been wipe in quite some time. The waitress was surly, treated... More

We were here for the halibut fish & chips several years ago, and have been thinking of it every since. The last several years we passed through on Sunday, when they're closed. But we made it on a Friday this year. The halibut fish & chips are as perfect as you can get, and it's very rare to have halibut... More

Mid afternoon lunch break. Only ones there. Best fish and chips from Niagara Falls to Montreal - and I've got them coming out my ears to prove it! The real deal. Worth the side trip to Picton. Small cozy family place. Full of neat nautical stuff - hence the name. Michelle and her Dad run the joint. She's a delight... More

Better this year as their unfriendly waitress was not there when we visited. She tends to turn people off, new and returning customers. Young waitress this year was friendly, polite and efficient!

Good chowder. You could tell it had real cream in it. The service was cheerful and prompt. I liked the coleslaw as well.

Small town fish and chip shop, seats about 30 people. Excellent fish and chips, fair prices and great chocolate milkshakes! We've tried the battered mushrooms, onion rings and soup as well and find them all tasty albeit small portions. The main serving lady is surly every time I've been there but we have learned to look pat that and enjoy... More

My family has a cottage in Picton and for 20 years we have been having an annual dinner at Schooner 's! It's one of the original County restaurants and a must if you want the old school picton experience! Classic Fish and chips for a great price. The decor and old memorabilia add to the experience, and the grill is... More

Went there for lunch. The waitress had a very sour attitude, rolling her eyes when we asked for something. The food quality was acceptable but the overall cleanliness of the establishment looked neglected.
