On a summer day the patio offered the perfect setting for an enjoyable lunch. While not our first visit it’s been a number of years and the value offering of the lunch fare and overall quality of the food and service was appreciated. The fish...tacos were amazing on their own and delightfully presentedMore

We were delighted with our anniversary dinner here. The food was marvellous - the best meal we had had for a long time. It was doubly enjoyable after hunkering down through Covid, to be able to sit on the deck in the sunshine, surrounded by...incredible vistas and eat fresh fish and local produce superbly prepared. Lovely attentive staff, too.More

We were almost dissuaded from eating here because of a poor review. Thankfully, we went despite this. What a great dinner, prime rib, perfectly cooked and perfectly tender vegetables. And the service was superb. On a small island where it has been difficult for businesses...to find adequate staffing, this was a great evening….dinner was excellent and staff very attentive.More

My husband and myself came for our 40th wedding anniversary, the grounds and room were nice and pleasant but the restaurant stay clear of! First night red wine spilt on my husband by the server, food was nowhere to the standard of what the price...is. Second night I had the worse seafood fettuccine I've ever had for 45.00! It had celery, carrots and onions in it and absolutely no taste at all! When we voiced our concern to the waitress she told us that they were short staff so basically suck it up, she was rude and not at all understanding. When we went to order dessert she told us it would be at least a half an hour wait for dessert. I was told they made an adjustment on my fetticini, it was laughable instead of 45…they charged me 43. Stay away from the restaurant but the accomodation were do able.More

We stayed with friends for 3 nights and ate breakfast and dinner each day. Breakfast was excellent with good service and prices that matched those back home in Parksville. Dinner was incredibly slow. We waited over an hour on our first night to get bread...and it was almost 2.5 hours before we finished dinner. I suspect staff shortages in the kitchen but given that everyone had to make a reservation and staff controlled the numbers it was hard to take. Food was well presented and , except for the Teriyaki beef bowl, was very good, although I thought prices on the high side. On the big plus side is the native art work and the amazing views across Discover Passage.More

We had seen some negative reviews of the Dining experience here and so unsure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very nice and the service was friendly and attentive. The view from the restaurant windows is gorgious across the Campbell...River and the wooden Lodge makes for a great setting for a meal. We would recommend easting at the restaurant if your staying at the lodge.More

We were staying at the Lodge and were celebrating my wife's birthday. The evening was made more special by our servers. To celebrate the birthday, I had a special present for my wife which I wanted to give to my wife at dinner. So rather...than carry it with me to dinner, I gave it to our server prior to dinner(1 hour prior). With specific instructions, the plan was our servers would bring the surprise at the dessert. Worked perfectly! Not only that, they brought a special dessert for the surprise, And they wanted to see the special gift. Not only that, our dinner was off the charts. I had the Seafood Linguini... wonderful! My wife had the Halibut which she loved. We have no hesitations to recommend this special spot in Quadra Island.More

This is a wonderful place to eat! Four of us ate4 meals here, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, all were delicious. The breakfasts have a good number of choices, try the Hash specialty with smoked salmon, delicious! The first night dinner was a treat. We...were all pleased with our choices, and the amount of beautifully prepared fresh vegetables was abundant! I had one of the best seafood fetticini I have ever had. What strikes you is the amount of the servings, you will be full after each. The next night is their traditional Prime Roast Beef Dinners. A full plate and tasty!(Hint-if you like medium rare or rare, insist on it as you will get medium as they will give you what they have at the time, that was my observation at the time). The servers were great and we were totally pleased with this restaurant.More

Service was good. Caesar Salad was delicious. But then the scallops came...awful. Chewy, overcooked, tasteless...so we sent them back. Next batch, a bit better, but not much, and for $20.00 ridiculous. Pork Tenderloin was delicious as were the vegetables. Overall, not bad, but definite room...for improvement.More

was disappointed - shrimp sandwich was light on the shrimp, Seafood Cakes had no flavour and were not served on a bed of greens but a few on the side that were wilted and brown. the chowder was made with minced seafood and again no...flavour. We were very disappointed since we had to take a ferry to get there. But the Staff were lovely.More
