Very friendly, good food. It hit the spot. Queen Charlotte roll was very good. Couldn't find a menu online anywhere, so here it is.

Wondered in one night for a quick bite. Had a couple of dishes but the Haida Gwaii roll was the best. It has seared smoked salmon around something like a california roll but better. So good and reasonably priced.

I was visiting relatives in QC, and if I could have I would have eaten at Sapporo every day. I am not knowledgeable about sushi, and was guided to the Tiger Rolls. Absolutely Delicious! We went as a group of 6 people and all agreed this was an exceptional find in Queen Charlotte. Great diversity of sushi, sashimi and rolls. Highly recommended.

Definitely worth a visit, even if you don't like Japanese food. This is AUTHENTIC Japanese food and beautifully presented. We went twice. I had noodles the first time which I wasn't fond of but the second time I had another dish which name escapes me...and it was delicious. It was like a California roll with a tangy sauces on the plate and shrimp on the top of the rice - delicious. And, the prices are very reasonable.More

Would never have expected to find Sapporo in Charlotte City but was very impressed with the freshness of the food and the service.

We eat a lot of sushi as we’re from Vancouver. This Haida Gwaii Restaurant tops the charts. Run by real Japanese people who know and understand the food style, service was pleasant and fast. All the food was top quality, from seaweed salad, specialty rolls...( we had 2) and veg. Tempura. Prices are higher than we pay at home, but this was top quality. Also licensed, warm sake would have been nice on a cooler night.More

Ordered the Haidi Gwaii Roll, tempura and a beer. All very tasty and fresh. Roll was excellent and filling! Some other tables orders some donburi and I wish I had room to order! Pricing was slightly higher than mainland but expected. Would recommend and eat...there again!More

There were 8 of us, one who had never tried sushi before. I like sushi and live in a town with lots of places to get it. This one is the highest quality. Raw fish was really fresh. I see some found it expensive. Compared...to where I live, and go to good restaurants, i found the prices comparable. Not your grocery store version! We liked it so much we went back a second time. Since we were celebrating the end of our trip, they made up a special roll, not on the menu, for us to share. Very yummy! They made miso soup fresh for the second day we were there.More

I had a bento box with sashimi and tempura. It was nicely presented and fresh tasting. The service was a little slow, but there is just one chef and one server. They were, however, very friendly and the quality of the meal was good.

Sapporo is one of the better restaurants in Queen Charlotte, with sushi, tempura, teriyaki and excellent yakisoba. Recommended.
