What an amazing little place. Coffee was great and breakfast was amazing. Everything is homemade and delicious. Fast and friendly service. And you can see the ocean from the deck and the inside windows. A must if going through Inverness.

Good coffee. Great choice and milkbread pastry. Quick friendly service and a nice setup. Definitely a go to place for latte, cappuccino and London fog.

Has your banquet been re-coved or is it still filthy dirty? I really would like to go for lunch but don't want to sit on this thing.

We stopped for a very late lunch whilst driving from Halifax to Cape Breton and couldn't have been happier to find this wonderful place. We ordered iced coffees, a panini and a scone (I think), and sat outside in the spacious courtyard. Staff were slightly...More

The staff are wonderful and the chef is very accommodating to food needs! My love and I are vegan and this spot is one of the only choices for us in this area. We stop at this cafe every trip to Inverness and look forward...More

Had a lovely lunch . Waitress was very nice ,food was good and service great. BUT hasn't anyone noticed the DIRT on the seating (banquet) against the wall? Gross. Very poor choice of material for something so well used.

Thank you very much for your feedback Julie. The material is indeed a tricky one to maintain, but we are looking into solutions and hope to remedy this as soon as possible. Cheers

We were attending a musical event close by so we ended up visiting this cafe twice. First for coffee and a snack. The coffee was some of the best we'd enjoyed on our trip. We shared a scone for a snack and it was so...More

Excellent ambiance in a country ocean side village. Leaves were in full colour, the ocean was spectacular & the golfers were still golfing at Cabot links & Cabot Cliffs. A full menu with gluten & dairy free options. The tastes were 'off the charts' and...More

My husband and I shared the "typical" breakfast and a Belgian waffle at Downstreet Coffee Company in Inverness, NS. The typical breakfast is two eggs, meat, hash browns and toast. We picked ham and it was three very thin slices. I'd choose bacon or sausage...More

Excellent coffee and Creative assortment of bites, with a lot of healthy options! Great selection of music. Would've rated it excellent except that the barista, possibly owner, went out of his way to be less than pleasant/communicative. Not that that mattered to us to much...More
