We had a family party there on Sunday with 12 adults and 7 children. We were worried that with such an amazing menu and the number of us, that the food would be slow coming - never a good idea with youngsters. However we had pre ordered and the food was ready on time and no hold ups between courses.... More

Having booked for a table of 8 we arrived to be told that they needed the table back by 7pm. This was not mentioned on the phone when we booked. The waitress came promptly to take our order but thereafter the service was abysmal. We waited long periods of time in between courses and would have liked to order more... More

Another excellent lunch, specialist sausage baguette and smashing chunky chips. Son had duck wraps, also excellent. Service good. They need to teach the blonde waitress that she must not sneeze of the crockery when setting tables though. Wiping her hand on her mouth and then carrying on is also out. Yuk.

Have now been here a couple of times for lunch and enjoyed the lunchtime menu. Good range of sandwiches and baguettes which come accompanied by chips and salad at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, interesting pub interior packed with amazing nick naks. Garden has pleasant raised seating area with views over the surrounding countryside. Handy for the Wood Green animal shelter.... More

I had heard good things about this restaurant, however i was a bit disappointed. Theres a great atmosphere in the pub... but the restaurant itself was overcrowded and the food was disappointing, its just overpriced pub grub. the menu is very big but my starter came out cold and the mains were only ok not worth the price...

A friend booked a table and said I would love it and she was right. Can't wait to go back. The menu is extensive and you will be spoilt for choice. I went for a dish I wouldn't normally order and it was positively scrumptious (wild mushroom and cashew stroganoff with wild rice, tomato and red onion salad). My friend... More

Having eaten here previously and been pleased, we booked a meal in the restaurant on Saturday evening and were allocated a table just in the restaurant, by a narrow entrance. It was a table for four but the seats by the window suffered from a cold down draught so we sat in the chairs away from the wall. But there... More
