My husband loves seafood chowder so we went to this place for lunch. H e said it was some of the best chowder he's eaten - and that's saying a lot. Chicken strips were super good as well. We just wish we'd come back for...dinner too as it would have been much better than where we ended up.More

The food, halibut and chips and the chowder were great and the service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and covid friendly. Thank you kallie.

Great views. Service was average and food was sub-par....the halibut tacos were dry and only had "essence of halibut" (very little deep fried(?) halibut)....tasteless. NOT worth a second visit.

after a visit with friends, we decided to go have lunch. chose the local pub as it has a sundeck on the water side with a terrific view. all our food orders were very good and our server was excellent. she was attentive and had...a cheeky wit, which had us chuckling a couple of times. overall a very pleasant time.More

Great location and view in Cowichan Bay. Good: lunch fish & chips were good, servers efficient and pleasant, tables were socially distanced and clean. Bad: warm beer, no Covid measures exercised by servers (no masks, reaching over you with food and drinks, coming beside you...to take order or deliver food or clean plates). Can’t go back until improve or vaccine.More

I've been there once for work. It has the lovely view of the sea and marina, so quite and peaceful. I liked the ambiance of the pub and a nice place to hangout either inside or patio. Service was good and prompt. I ordered a...Halibut fish and chips, it was delicious. Though I feel, chips portion was small and coleslaw could be more creamy. Next time, I will give it another try.More

My son and I decided to have a beer and snack and enjoy the view at the Cow Bay Pub in Cowichan Bay. We each enjoyed a couple of beers (Blue Buck and their daily feature - $6.00 during happy hour) and delicious crab cakes...($12.95). We sat on their patio and because it was April 25th, it was still a bit cool but blankets are provided and much appreciated to have on our laps! But the view! Awesome! Such beauty and being from land-locked Alberta, so beautiful to sit virtually beside the sea. Definitely recommend!More

As a regular here, dinner was fine but definitely missing Brian, he kept tabs on service and made you feel important. Service was definitely an issue, might have to go visit him more often.

We came for a Friday TGIF supper, and to listen to a three-piece Jazz combo. One base, one keyboard and a very good vocalist( female), with an air of Etta James in her performance. We are here about once a month so know the food...is good. Tonight it was crab cakes and Korean stir-fry, but we wanted to hear good music and we were not disappointed. It may have been that this was a Friday night (TGIF), but the Group were under-appreciated, and that's a shame. We will hopefully enjoy their ambience on another occasion, as this has the makings of a musical change of pace!, and that's what people need from time to time.More
