Regular fare. Nothing to write home about. I like this place though as they support the community. They can handle larger groups.

My partner and I stopped by Sassy’s for brunch one sunny afternoon. The name had always grabbed my attention and so I’d been curious to try this place for some time. The establishment was busy, but we were seated promptly at a nice booth. My...More
Awesome home cooked food. Eggs cooked spot on. Sandwich loaded with meat! Service was good, restaurant could use some updates, but overall great, would go back for more.
Thanks for you very positive review! Glad you enjoyed your time with us and the food was good. We'll welcome you back anytime.
We love going to Sassy's for our weekly breakfast get together. We feel like part of the family. ALWAYS a smile and warm greeting by the great staff that work there, and by Cory, the owner. The food is traditional, tasty and the portions are...More
Thanks for such a positive review. It's just the kind of thing I love to read. I love it that you feel like part of our Sassy's family even if I am too young to be your dad. Thanks again.
I've been here numerous times for quick breakfast and the service and entrée quality has always been top notch. I gotta say though that the booth benches, though padded, have got to be the most uncomfortable seats around. I really do hope they have near...More
Glad that when you come here you enjoy our food and service. And I'm sorry that you find our booths so uncomfortable.
We ordered the shepherd’s pie, dinner special and it tasted like spaghetti sauce with mashed potatoes on top. It appeared more like a soup than Sheppard’s pie. Our server was sitting with customers chatting for a while. We waited until she was passing by and...More
I'm so sorry for the terrible treatment you received. I must say I don't understand AT ALL how your server could possibly believe that this treatment was OK - it's certainly not with me. I just feel angry and want to fire this person. Perhaps...More
Was craving one of your delicious omelettes today. Was greeted by the hostess immediately, seated in the back upper level, given a menu & a pot of hot coffee. That's when the usually good service ended. The server appeared to serve a table (of 2...More
So sorry it's taken us a long time to respond. Our response was rejected - I'm not sure why. It certainly has nothing to do with whether or not we see this as a priority. I've spoken to the staff and they remember this situation...More
My daughter and 2 grandchildren, aged almost 3 and 5 were treated to a late dinner by me. The food and the service was excellent for what we had. We both had the Monte Cristo's - ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches that were coated in...More
Thank you very much for the 5 star review. Glad that the food and service were to your liking.
We just happened on this place at the right time (lunch). The food was absolutely delicious (chicken and dumplings). The service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Would recommend this place to anyone - well worth it. Louise
So glad you enjoyed your lunch and that we were part of what sounds like a pretty good day. I love that chicken and dumpling stew (that's why I put it on the menu). Thanks so much.
Nothing is better than a meal that leaves one totally sated but wishing one could eat more. If you want a meal that satisfies in terms of quality and quantity this is the place. Our group had dinner here on the way to Butchart Gardens...More
So glad you enjoyed all we have to offer and we were part of what, we are sure, was a pleasant night at Butcharts.
