Was welcomed by Friendly staff and an inviting bar! There was a lovely outside seating area with heaters and canopy for that typical English weather. Overall was a lovely evening in a lovely pub! Will be back soon.

We took advantage of the last "Table Pouncer" booking so it was a 6.30 pm Friday meal. OK the negatives ... The bar area was crammed full and buzzing, separation to the restaurant area was minimal so if their was wallpaper music we wouldn't have heard it. The surf and turf with yummy tiger prawns deserved a better than a... More

Not a massive menu, which is good, but still plenty of choice to cover all tastes. Large portions so we couldn't manage a pud!!!(we always have pud!) The place wasn't too busy for a lunch and the staff were helpful, we will be going again..

Went to the Goods Yard to meet a friend for lunch. They have now introduced a system whereby you need to insert your car registration into a machine by the bar or you could get fined, this is probably to stop people abusing their car park. We hadn't booked but they found us a table. It was quite busy but... More

After the passing away of my youngest brother aged 42, the comfort we had was it brought together our family. My Dad and his brother didn't have a good relationship over 13 years but i came up with the idea to to travel to our family in Dorset from Staffordshire and see my Nan & family for New Year. After... The Goods Yard is a magnet for the locals (especially those heading for 'a certain age') in Broadstone, as its only competition is a Wetherspoon's. Perhaps it is a victim of its success. As it is within walking distance for me, we sometimes meet friends there for a drink at weekends. However, it gets very busy, so seats and tables... More

Booked table for two asked if we we could move to another table and was told we could, got up to be then told could not move already booked. Starter awful apparently caramalized onion humous, tasted awful and complained, no response by waitress. Table we asked to move too was empty all through our meal. Only saving grace was the... More

In response to the negative reviews I am seeing The Goods Yard get based on its lack of high chairs… Let me just say THANK YOU for not providing high chairs! So often I will go to an ADULT establishment for some quiet/relaxing ADULT time only to have the moment stolen from me as soon as some parent thinks it’s... More

Came in with our 1 year old baby. Asked if they had a children's menu, were told yes so bought drinks each. Then sat down at a table but told we'd have to be finished within the hour if we wanted to sit in the restaurant and not the bar. We then asked for a high chair to be told... More

We had a family meal here to celebrate a birthday and had booked weeks in advance, we called to ensure we would be able to use two highchairs for the toddler and 10 month old with us. When we arrived there were no highchairs available for use at all, this wasn't too much of a problem for the two year... More
