They clearly forgot our order and cooked it quickly. It was awful. But instead of apologising they said pizza was cooked. It wasn't and pretty much became a joke for us. Very defensive staff as if feedback seemed important to them but really it's damage...More

Had an amazing evening in this particular Zizzi's. Food and service both went over and above my expectations and I would definitely return next time I am in Clifton.

Went into Zizzis this evening for a quick bite but quickly turned into the best 3 course meal we'd had in a long time! Amazing food and equally amazing service by Jamie!! This guy deserves a raise! Highly recommend if you're in the area! Thanks...More

I had lunch at Zizzi. I selected a Mediterranean grilled seafood dish, which came out hanging on a metal kebab stick. The food was ok, but a bit tasteless. The service was ok, but food nothing to brag about.

A really nice welcome form the staff, who were efficient and helpful. The food was tasty and fresh, so we couldn't fault it. The restaurant is comfortable and it was great to see the wood burner going, all adds to the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and decor along with friendly staff, but let's face it, you go for the food and both of us agreed that our pasta dishes were quite bland. The pizza bread on the other hand was amazing, it's just a shame about the main...More

Description
Zizzi is a spacious Italian restaurant in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol. Surrounded by quaint boutiques and other historic buildings, it is only a five-minute walk from Brunel's famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. With a large seating area tucked away at the back, Zizzi - Clifton Village easily caters for large parties whilst creating an intimate atmosphere for couples or smaller groups at the front of the restaurant. Zizzi is a lively and entertaining place to eat with friends and family, but the staff can also seat you somewhere secluded if you are after a bit more privacy! Zizzi - Clifton Village was given a makeover at the start of 2010 and now features an illustration by local artist Richard Sanderson, who was inspired by Bristol's floating harbour, terraces and the Great Western Railway. Zizzi restaurants are passionate about simple Italian cookery. Whether it's pizza or pasta, salads or risotto, or carne and pesce (meat and fish), each dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients - from the popular classics to Zizzi's own innovations - ensuring that you can enjoy a great Italian dining experience, at any of Zizzi's Italian restaurants around the country.
