When I am working in Bristol I always come here - bacon sandwich and a coffee for my breakfast and a Falafel sandwich to take away for my lunch - excellent quality - great service - professional staff - a must for anyone visiting.

Go to this cracking place when working in Bristol. Spotlessly clean. Superb food. Great staff. Brilliant value. The owner remembered mine and my colleague's breakfast order. After us not having been there for 14 months. I work all over the country and go to a lot of small, independent eateries like this. It's exceptional.

Popped in at 1 on a Sunday in Jan and have a crab, prawn and avocado sandwich with a double espresso. Lovely friendly staff who explain how the system works and bring your food to the table, and beautiful rich coffee. Extremely quick service also. Would highly recommend!

The sandwiches here are always freshly made, lots of choice and an abundance of filling. Really good value. Drinks are also reasonable. Service is prompt, staff pleasant. The best in Bristol in my opinion.

So first of all, this is a very nice place, very well decorated, great "ambience". Apparently, it's great for food, so my girlfriend says. But as far as coffee is concerned, I don't think so. With the name "Cafe Amore" espressos should be a whole lot better. Thin coffee in a tiny cup... Disappointing.

Busy café offering a wide range of small meals at reasonable prices. My cup of tea was what I call a real cup of tea. Staff are well turned out and attentive. Café well maintained and tables kept clean, and I would mention that the ladies toilets are clean.

Really liked the cafe, nice decorations, loved the seating area love the seating upstairs. However, food is not great, worst baked potato I've had in a decade. By crab, they meant shredded crab sticks. Rip off. Staff weren't very friendly. Not enough plug sockets for a cafe

This cafe is tucked away on Nelson Street, Bristol and you may well walk past the frontage! But go inside and you'll find a lot of dark wood, barley-twist banisters up the stairs, quaint little sections with tables and chairs (much like a small train), walls filled with old fashioned enamelled adverts, friendly staff and great coffee/tea/snacks, or full meals... The food here is excellent. They offer a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes with at least a dozen different fillings, cakes and lasagne. The portions are hearty and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they offer a fast and efficient service. They are miles ahead of the chain coffee shops both...
