I visited with family on the weekend. We were given 3 menus to choose from and we went for the a la carte. After the orders were taken we were given some delicious amuse bouche, I especially liked the Parmesan crisp and the leek and potato soup. The breads we were offered were standard and not unusual in any way... More

This was a birthday celebration and it definitely didn't disappoint! The informative and friendly service lived up to the absolutely deliciously fantastic food! This is a must if you're looking for a fine dining experience. Our only regret is that we didn't go for the tasting menu.....looks like another trip is in order 😊

We ate from the a la carte menu. The food was really delicious, cooked well and we enjoyed every course. There was also some gorgeous bread, we both had seconds! The wine list was not over priced, very reasonable and we enjoyed our Riesling. However the best thing about this place was the atmosphere and service, not too stuffy, the... More

We ate from the a la carte menu and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and very well informed about each dish. We loved every course and were impressed by all the extras that were given to us throughout our evening. It all tasted wonderful, from the strawberry cocktail to the petit fours that came with our coffee -we... More

We had the menu gourmand in April and the whole evening was fantastic. The food was fabulous, the wine was brilliantly paired and the staff were lovely, attentive without being over-bearing. Would definitely reccomend this to anyone wanting a fine dining experience.

We had a family lunch from the a la carte menu which was delightful. You probably need to like fish as a lot on the menu. The service was excellent you were not rushed and each course was explained to you. Well worth a visit.

I have been here many times before and it continues to get better and better, albeit more expensive. No longer a little local bistro but now a top flight serious restaurant with all the bells and whistles. It is surely moving towards its second Michelin star. Immaculate service, superb food all meal long, and terrific wine (a Vouvray "Siliex Noir,... More

I would thoroughly recommend Wilks. We went for the 7 course surprise tasting menu - I think we worked out it was more like 10 with the extras they throw in. Every single course was beautifully presented and delicious. I couldn't fault any of it. The service was so attentive whilst doing exactly enough as to not disrupt your privacy... More

Visited last sunday as a borthday treat and from start to finish it was just superb, amuse bouch, starter main pre dessert and dessert all just so full of flavour. The service was also impeccible. I would say a must for anyone deserving a treat.

I came with my family to celebrate my graduation and really didn't have the experience we were hoping for. The food was tasty enough but really not very exciting and highly predictable. The staff were unfriendly and the prices were incredibly high for such an average experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.
