Had a good time, unfortunately the service was slow,so didn't have deserts. Would have given a high rating in all respects,if it wasn't for slow service.

Good value with vouchers. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was ok but could have been hotter. There was plenty of choice on menu even though we were informed dome things had sold out! Would return again. Pleasant location.

Visit to Cambridge to see some friends and they bought us to The Bridge. Well we definitely won't be back again. No steaks, no beef and no lamb shanks and on a Saturday night?? Then when we asked for a coffee, the coffee machine wasn't working so went for a tea instead and unbelievable they bought out sachets of sugar,... More

Have been here three times, organised by friends, but have no idea why. On the last visit the belly pork was hard and the crackling, clearly cooked separately, gelatinous and rubbery. A seafood platter of sorts was served to one of the group and the fish seemed to have been boiled in the bag and as for the pie.....all crust... More

We booked a table for 8 at The Bridge for our daughters birthday family meal. The table was booked for 5.30pm as our daughter and son-in-law have a 5 month old baby and wanted to make sure it wasn't too late for him. We were shown to our table and this is where the problems began when we had to... More

Cold food, rock hard bread. Very slow service over 3in drink wait. 1hr30 for food. Ran out of all but one bitter. Portions small, overlooked, cold and generally dissatisfying. Attitude of all staff including management very poor, considering we were a party of 9

We visit the Bridge two or three times a year to meet up as three friends, for a meal and chat. Our last few visits have been a disaster-poor food and service. Encouraged by a special voucher email we returned last night and wow what a difference. The food was exceptional and service excellent. The Whitebait was the best I... More
