This is a lovely historic building close to Ely Cathedral. The service was outstanding , the menu perfectly adequate for lunch at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. A great start to a visit to Ely.

Came here before going to Evensong at the Ely Cathedral. Very good desserts and tea. The menu is a la carte, so it is possible to get a tea and dessert for only 6 pounds total.

The manager had co-operated with a local florist to give us a spectacular table. The food and service were to match. The whole family were full of praise for the welcome, friendly service and superb food. Many thanks to all at this unique restaurant.

Lovely cream tea but I was so disappointed that my tea cup rim came covered in dust. Wonderful setting with a lovely view of the cathedral.

Lovely location in grounds of Ely Cathedral. Very clean and good decor. A good choice of Sunday tea and cakes. Good service although only room for 30 people at most there is seating outside if weather permitting. Price are reasonable as well

Mixed thoughts about this place. The staff were a bit quiet and seemed like they didn't want to be there. We ordered cake and they had run out, as well as having run out of Jacket potatoes. So this was a negative part of our...More

I didn't have afternoon tea, although I did look at the menu. I recall the food was costs were very reasonable. Whatever the price I don't think you'll be dissapointed. HB
