With the North West being a bit of a culinary desert when it comes to fine dining, we were looking forward to eating here. Whilst there's no denying the food is good and the service attentive (as they both should be), it all feels a...More

We had not eaten here before and booked it as a special treat during our stay in Chester. It was a total delight. We had the tasting menu and wine flight. We swapped one course for one from the veggie taster and that was no...More

Went as a treat for some business guests. While the staff are very hard working and personable, the impression is of over-fussiness and rather too many people doing work that 2/3 of their number could manage perfectly well. Waiting 10 minutes while the "special home-cooked...More

We stayed one night in the hotel and booked into the restaurant. We both had the tasting menu and whilst my husband enjoyed the whole menu as a pescatarian I was able to dip between the usual menu and vegetarian tasting menu; all courses were...More

Booked as a surprise birthday / silver anniversary by my OH. As expected, perfect service from start to finish. We opted for the 8 course vegetarian taster menu. We hadn’t tried this before and thought we might still be hungry after but it’s surprising how...More

We were really looking forward to this lovely meal. We were not disappointed! The Amuse Bouche course told the story of what was to follow. The service is impeccable given by a very trained staff which is such a pleasure. They operated in tandem with...More

Really enjoyed my time here! Food was lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our waiter was extremely polite and attentive. I did feel the service was slow, as it too over 2 hours to finish the tasting menu Other than that, pretty pleased with the...More

I'm now seriously regretting all the other places I gave 5 stars to...... We went for the 8-course taster menu (my husband as a meat-eater and myself on the vegetarian option) and the food was simply stunning. Every single aspect of the evening from the...More

One of the best meals we've had for some time. We had the taster menu on a reasonably busy Friday evening. The first couple of appetizers were in the bar area which was a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The service from the start was...More

Hi there, The tasting menu wine flight is priced at £49.50 or bottles on the list start at approximately £28. There is also a great choice of wines by the glass or carafe.

Hi there, The wines are an additional add on to the menu as not everyone wants the flight. Thanks

Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, has held a Michelin star for nineteen years running surely a record outside of London. Under the direction of Executive Chef Simon Radley the exceptional modern British menu changes seasonally and uses only the finest ingredients. The cellar is also renowned, having one thousand bins and a sommelier of prodigious knowledge. The dining room itself is as dashing as you would expect with comfy chairs, oriental carpets, fine woods, original artwork, ebony pillars and many-layered tones of gold and taupe. The service is distinguished by its warmth and professionalism. Top marks.
