A pub and brewery (Spitting Feathers) with a long history, excellent beer and food, and very friendly staff. Our second visit for dinner and drinks and we will return.

Really nice building. Staff very friendly and good choice of beers. Decided to stay for tea and ordered the macaroni and pie. Big portions and really tasty as well as reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

Came in for a beer and following day came in for tea. Service swift, prices reasonable, food tasty. Some of the ales are bob on and the guests especially good. It's a great room to sit in, a real gem in the heart of Chester

Good selection of beers. The one I tried where well kept. The place smelt of fish which was not pleasant and other customers left or did not enter due to the smell!
