We just popped in as my partner had never been before. Inside was loverly, old and original. We both tried one of the ales. After watching the meals coming through we decided to try it ourselves. My first option had sold out but I certainly...More

I have been here a number of times and the ales are great. I have also been on the tour of the brewery which is excellent. Spitting feathers all the way!

Lovely place beautiful architecture. Food looked lovely too. Just wish that they had a stronger beer on the ones that they had were nice though.

This place is a delight ! I have been going to the brewery for years ! It is a hidden gem, rather difficult to find and access, but it is worth it. Everything is freshly made, they change the beers on a weekly basis, the...More

I often nip in here for a pint when my wife is smashing the credit cards. Great range of beers that change often, efficient service and a nice ambience.

Loved this pub, great real ales and good food and friendly staff. There are games such as chess. draughts and scrabble for customers to use during their visit if they so choose. Old furniture but very eclectic place which makes a nice change from the...More

This place had been recommended to me for its food so I took the family for lunch. It was really disappointing, large tasteless portions and a badly thought out menu. I would suggest you go for the beer and eat elsewhere.

To be honest, conventional is not really their thing. Don't let that put you off though. You can have a Sunday Roast any Sunday you want. You can't always try and enjoy the great food and beer that is served here!
