Eaten here twice in the last month and both times I've had the lamb and chorizo stew! Genuinely up there with one of the best dishes I've had in the last 12 months and I've eaten me fair share! I tried to pester the waitress for the recipe but she was having none of it. Fumin! Ah well, worth a... More

Not the sunniest day of the year but we drove into Cheshire for lunch and decided to try Ring O' Bells. For a Tuesday lunchtime it was surprisingly busy which shows it's popularity. The pub has a decent sized conservatory style extension with a glass ceiling which makes a nice bright place to dine, though we chose a cosy round... More

So, we visited here on our last trip to Chester. It was more of a random "I am starving" stop off. I had to review it then because it was absolutely amazing! - However. This time was a let down. My last review stated how I would do the two hour car journey just to experience the tasty onion rings... More

What a lovely smart well organised pub this is. Staff and management helpful, polite and extremely efficient. My meal was brilliant...small fish and chips and great value at £7.50 wasn't small at all! I would normally give 5 stars to a place like this but not everyone was happy. Bacon baps/rolls had bacon that was akin to pork scratching (some... More

went here on valentines day, had a very good meal, the service was very good, the only thing to comment about the food is that some of the portions are very generous. The pub and restaurant are both very good, the only downside to the place is the size of the car park, a very good place

My grandparents and I went here for lunch on a Saturday and the pub is lovely and had a good atmosphere. The food was great and they were happy to let them have a smaller portion for a smaller price which is rare when it is not already on the menu. We sat in the main restaurant and the only... More

Its a nice Village pub, its always busy. The food is nice , usuallly favour the burgers and steak. But most of the dishes are quite nice here especially some the desserts. Nice service , reasonably priced.

Every Wednesday a large group of students from Christleton High School visit Ring O' Bells to have 2 for 1 Pizzas. Whilst the food and service is generally good, we were disappointed with one of the waitresses taking used sauce from one group of students and taking it to another group who had asked for sauce - instead of making... We had a lovely meal here, gorgeous lamb stew with coriander bread and the most delicious rib eye we've ever tasted (so nice I made him share!) Service was excellent, wine, coffee and brandy all great.
