What a lovely place right on the banks of the canal. A good choice of menu and reasonable priced. The only down side was they were refurbishing the toilets and there was a a queue for the ladies.

We visited this restaurant one week day evening based on the good reviews we saw on Tripadviser. The atmosphere wa very good, not too noisy but a general hum of conversation and a pleasant location by the canal where it would be nice to sit at the outside tables on a warm summers evening. Prices are mid range (about £90... More

Just had the MOAB (mother of all breakfasts) with the family. Easily accommodated a 2 year old toddler food request. Lovely friendly staff, reasonably priced and a great atmosphere. Have tried most of the menu over the years and always flawless. Don't miss this place if you're visiting the city.

A welcoming bar just outside of the city, very well trained and personable staff, where nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent making use of homegrown produce and using produce that is in season. Choice of beer is suburb with the outstanding Budvar dark and Budvar yeast both available currently. If you have not tried either of these... More

I love this place. The ambiance & the style is hard to achieve as it's naturally low key but sharp. Lovely setting by the canal & nothing ever a problem. Noted a previous review about babies & we didn't get that AT ALL & I've eaten here 20+ times & never have. Love the food & the whole vibe.

I'm lucky enough to live in the city centre so i'm genuinely spoilt for choice for places to eat & drink but this place is top of the list. The staff are incredible - it's a difficult to get that balance between attentive and overbearing but these guys nail it. The gin selection is on another planet, the Lego stool... More

I visited here twice on a recent business trip to Chester. The location is fab, right on the canal. The staff were great and very welcoming. They have an amazing gin selection and real ales/fruit beers a plenty. Next time I'll try the food here.

Thank Rallyhead1983
