Tacky decor and greasy chips served with a grimace but for the low prices and great view you can't complain, just what you need after a cold swim

Had lunch here on NYE 2016, the Whitebait and chips I ordered was fine. It`s very small and very busy and popular so you might have some issue if you want to sit down. All in all we found it great with fresh, tasty seafood.

We popped into Dave's Diner for a fish n chip lunch. Its certainly popular as its busy and with the narrow premises at bit on top of each other. The Cod looked gorgeous and is freshly cooked. However, the batter is exceptionally thick so the actual cod portion is a lot smaller than you would hope for. The Scampi is... More

Pretty good and friendly. Only 24 hr diner I know of in the area. Made d cent poached eggs and good coffee and expert service. Convenient but location is a little tough to find set back. Worth the trip

I visited here in June when I visited looe. This place serves good fish and chips which were very nice. You can etheir eat in or take out but we usually eat in service is a good standard But sometimes we choose to take away because the views around looe are just lovely

Not very good at all. One of the worst battered fish I've ever had the misfortune to waste money upon. Thick stodgy soggy batter with a dried up minimal strip of tasteless fish. It appeared to be the frozen variety rather than something fresh from the sea. Certainly won't be giving the place a second chance.

Manager and staff needs lessons in customer relations! Simply couldn't be bothered to cook fresh for a group of us. Telling us we need to hurry up if we want to order but didn't close up for another 20 minutes! We took our business to the far superior takeaway next door and will not be back to try again!

Took the family here for dinner after a day at the seaside. With five of us, we needed to spill on to two tables but the decor was cosy and service was swift and helpful. The fish and chips were really fresh and hot and quite reasonably priced. I would recommend a visit.
