This must be nicest pub in England, a family run pub that welcomes dogs children and even husbands! Got games and books for children at the time of writing no WiFi hence the games, good range of beers, but the major attraction is the food....More

Popped in to this for dinner and a few drinks on our recent trip to Newquay, very friendly pub with outstanding food. Would recommend anyone visiting Newquay to go to this place.

Very welcoming and allowed our dogs in. Lovely old fashioned pub and very friendly staff. They serve simple but hearty pub food. The steak and ale pie was delicious.

Attended with husband and son for dinner. Staff were very friendly and pub setting beautiful. Unfortunately the food didn’t match. Will not be returning.

3rd time of visiting during a weeks stay. Food once again excellent had the special Hake in clotted cream sauce and potatoes sublime, nachos to die for and the lamb tagine, generous portion would feed 2!. Staff brilliant very attentive. Cannot wait to come back...More

beautiful old pub in delightful location.excellent food (sunday lunch not to be missed!)Very dog friendly which is a bonus.we were made very welcome by friendly,cheerful staff and locals.water and dog treats available for all doggy visitors.we look forward to returning next year.
