We stayed in the Art Room, up some steps but the staff is awesome and will help with luggage and anything else. Breakfast is included and cooked to order. Cream tea is delicious in the afternoon. The staff makes this place just grand. And they filmed school scenes of Doc Martin in the parking lot during our stay. Too bad... More

We had dinner here, very nice surroundings and excellent food and wine. Staff were very good and we were looked after very well. We had three courses at dinner and all were very good. I had pork medallions with mustard mash which was very tasty and very good. Good sized portions but not over size so left room for puds.

Had some awful food in Port Isaac but not here. Everything was excellent. Sea bass, fish pie and battered haddock were all first class. Scrummy desserts and good coffee. Great attentive service too.

Having arrived in Port Isaac, without booking ahead, we stumbled across this restaurant. We were very pleased we did. We had a super meal, including a great fish pie, sea bass and salmon. The staff were kind and the atmosphere was friendly and informal. We enjoyed the food so much we returned 2 days later.

We visited Port Isaac and walked all around the streets & their was some filming going on so most of the cafes etc were busy so we decided to pop into the Old School House for a drink & it was very interesting . Still had a lot of the old school aspects about it

This is a beautiful place with a nice atmosphere that has excellent food. The only thing that would make it better is to have someone take your order at the table and bring your drinks. The current system is you order and pay for your food and drinks at the bar and you find a table and carry your own... More

Lovely old school house kept almost like a school, bright and airy with good food and friendly service. We had a good lunch with our two children
