Emailed the hotel twice to raise the point, no response. Before I start, Kat, receptionist, was faultless. Room above the bar, really noisy until beyond midnight. £140 for one night a bit steep, considering everything.

Me and my family stayed here over Christmas, the rooms had everything we needed and the staff were really friendly, it was a very nice walk into St Ives, Tesco down the road too so if you need any snacks for the beach you can grab them on the way!

The view is fabulous, the food is of great quality and the staff are great. Good value for money and the beer is good too.

This is not a bad place and my experience each time has not been bad. A week or two ago they had an offer of a pint and a pizza for eight pound, this was quite good although only certain beers and pizzas were on offer, even though from my personal opinion it was great. Our last visit, on Boxing... More

Room rate was keenly priced and included an excellent breakfast which was served at its sister hotel the Gannet, located next door. On arrival staff very friendly and welcoming. Car park is located directly opposite the hotel. The room was small but served its purpose...clean and warm with a good selection of toiletries. The hotel bar is basically a sports... More

Sat in a cold, quiet dining room with no other guests. Food was greasy, tasteless and of poor, poor quality. Service was minimal. Standards here are low. It was a family celebration, totally ruined and embarrassing for those that had arranged the evening. Such a shame, won't recommend or ever return.

We stayed 2. Nights for a wedding at the beginning of October. We were so disappointed with value for money. The room had stains on carpet, no headboard, cheap furniture, erratic shower sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold. A poor breakfast selection. The staff were pleasant but very immature. It felt like this hotel is running on a shoestring yet... More

Booked this hotel because it offered on site car parking. Unfortunately this only applies if you are lucky enough to get a parking space (it quickly fills up with non residents using the sports bar and onsite restaurant. We popped out on our first evening returning at around 8.00pm to find the car park full, so after getting little joy... More
