Great location by harbour. Great value, good food in somewhat rustic setting. Operates a very popular Fish and Chip takeaway from the other side of building. Cheerful friendly staff.

We arrived without a booking but were fitted in for an early dinner. Restaurant was very busy and obviously popular given the numbers turned away without a reservation. Our squid starter was excellent and the roast cod and oven baked hake were equally so. Wine...More

Had a good meal there, whole plaice with new potatoes, almond cake with clotted cream - all perfectly nice with good service. Next day, we went into the restaurant to book again for the following night. Well, we pushed open the door and the woman...More

Very good value for the take away meal provided. It was clear that it was well supported. Very good filling food.

Both started with a 'special".......a deconstructed sea bass ceviche, Simple, a nice amount of heat and perfectly balanced. Great mussels with chips and fish and chips. Chips were super crisp with melt in the mouth centers.

Had a lovely birthday meal here, would recommend the mussels. Lovely to sit upstairs and see the view - fairly expensive however the service was fabulous and the food was delicious so it was justified. The atmosphere was buzzy and would definitely come again.

Tried to book a table for Sunday evening. Answering machine said to leave a message and we would receive a call back. Sadly we didn't. We've eaten here before and loved it but this lack of customer service will affect our decision to go again.

Bear in mind, food is cooked to order so you can be hanging around for 20 mins for fish/chips takeaway.
