We found Trebarwith Strand by accident when we took a wrong turn, luckily for us we found this place! We came back late afternoon for food and a drink, the food was very good (the fish and chips is particularly excellent!) and the Ale served was refreshing along with the absolutely fantastic view of the bay. They were a little... More

We often eat at this pub, during different times of the day, we have never had bad meal, although sometimes when they are very busy we have had to wait a little while for service, but never without an apology. There is a variety of dishes fish, meat, children's menu everything offered is delightful and well presented.

We enjoyed our meal here. Two adults and two children. Our meal consisted of a child's cheese and tomato pizza, which was a little small for my nine year old, a halloumi and mushroom burger for myself, which was delicious, a cheese burger, which was also lovely according to my husband and Cornish Brie which came with loads of bread... Ok so yes this is part of a local pub chain (been to The Custom House Padstow and the menu is identical ) BUT the location was amazing, scenic and just lovely in the sunny weather. We were able to sit outside, great choice of local beer and lager. Wine options good too. Our party had the crab sandwiches which... More

We were recommended to visit this place because of the food and wonderful sunsets. Nothing was a disappointment we had dinner here twice for two nights on the trot. Wonderful fish dishes as well as crustaceans to die for. The most amazing sunsets you will ever see in Cornwall.

This is a great place to visit, with wonderful views across the bay. The food was very good with some interesting choices but the desserts were poor and desperately need improving

The Port William Inn at Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel, is a wonderful pub and restaurant on the North Cornwall coast, renowned for excellent pub food and a comfortable welcoming bar. There is also 4 star accommodation, with all 8 hotel rooms having a very high standard of finish and superb sea views, down to the sea and the dramatic cliffs.

Magnificently situated, The Port William Inn nestles into the cliffs overlooking the dramatic Trebarwith Strand on the North Cornwall coast. When out, the tide reveals a mile of golden sand which can be viewed from the bar, the conservatory dining area and from the inn's eight luxurious en suite hotel bedrooms.
