Booked here for Christmas Day, but unable to come. Came this evening instead on a rescheduled visit and thrilled we got to dine here. Had a glass of Salcombe 'Start Point' gin... best gin I've ever tasted! Followed by beautifully cooked medium rare fillet steak and fillet of sea bream with samphire and mash. As if that wasn't enough, you... More

A lovely meal chosen from a small but quality menu in a delightful setting. Mushroom starters excellent as was the following Seafood Chowder. The lovely staff are a delight being helpful and friendly.

Took my daughter here for lunch, as she is vegetarian. Staff were very friendly and we had a reasonable choice of food. It's a good idea to book in advance as its only a small venue.

8 of us ate and the meal was excellent from start to finish, a lovely menu with a wide choice of food beautifully presented and very tasty. The food came out all together and to a high standard. We will certainly return

Stumbled upon this restaurant as the local pubs had all stopped cooking by the time we decided to eat and what a lucky discovery it was... The pumpkin soup was delicious and the Fasolka to die for... Very attentive owner Aga who made us both welcome...A fabulous end to a tiring day...can't wait to return

Two of us were on a sailing trip in July 2016 (apologies for the delay in submitting this review) and chanced upon the Anzac Street Bistro when trying to find somewhere to eat - and what a find! Small and intimate with great food (the venison was excellent), a good wine list and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very likely to... More

We had a good meal here - I had a vegetarian Thai green curry which was very tasty. The restaurant had a relaxed and warm atmosphere, with a young woman playing songs with a guitar but not being obtrusive. Friendly and helpful waitress. Good value for money.

This small bistro will not give you fast food, it will give you beautiful food full of flavour and although the choice is smaller what comes to your table is absolutely delicious. Vodka cocktails to start with a choice of locally sourced English wine . Really friendly staff and I wish I lived near as I would be in there... More

Ideally situated in the middle of town, unusual eastern European cuisine with many vegetarian options
