Been to zizzis in different cities and this was my second time in Exeter. Was busy on a Thursday evening but not full, a good mix of friends, couples and families so saw that as a good sign. I had garlic bread starter (big enough for two) and prawn linguine but asked for them at the same time which they... More

Booked for dinner last Saturday and what a great experience. Staff were efficient and friendly and the food was first class. Quite a few large groups which gave a great atmosphere to the evening. We'll definitely be back next time we're down in Exeter, highly recommend you give it a try.

I have eaten here on a few occasions with friends. The food has always been delicious and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend the garlic bread with caramelised onion!! Great options for vegetarians. Great for groups.

I am retired and living in a sheltered housing block of flats with my wife and they had a hub meeting and our Area Manager and about 13 staff went for a meal there. It was packed and as usual i listen to the sounds and everyone i heard was having a good time. With 15 of us we had... More

We've used this place a few times as a family and thought it would be good for a late Sunday afternoon treat. It wasn't busy and there seemed to be enough staff, but it took ages to get recognised, let alone have our order taken. The staff seemed quite disinterested, and when our order came it was wrong and some dishes... Visited on a Saturday night- it was busy but not fully booked. Couldn't fault the food- it was delicious, and they cater well for those with dietary needs. However, the service was slow and staff not particularly attentive. We waited a long time for drinks to be served, had to ask twice for the allergen menu and the waitress offered... More

Lovely meal in a lovely atmosphere . The location is great and has a lovely garden at the back when the summer is here. Food was great and the service was good. If there is any complaint I would say that the drinks are expensive other than that excellent.

Pleasantly suprised when we arrived at this restaurant to find is busy yet comfortable on a Thursday evening. Glad we didn't have a full size sharing platter as the rustic pizza was huge and cooked to perfection. Peroni Gran Riserva and a bottle of Nero D'avlo went down a treat. Waitress was brilliant and very pleasant. So nice to see... More

Good location, nice decor. The staff was friendly, quick and efficient. The food arrived roughly 15min after ordering which was great. My friends pasta was ok/average, the bruschetta was ok but the mushroom paste on bread (I had two starters and no main) tasted a bit odd. I was slightly disappointed that the waitress took notice of some grass bits... More

I have visited zizzis so far about 5 times this year and it's only March, hence why I'm giving it an excellent rating! I've never been let down here, amazing food, a lovely relaxed and romantic atmosphere with an open kitchen too! Most recently I came here on a Saturday night after receiving an amazing offer which was 3 courses... More
