Noticed the sandwich board outside John Lewis advertising a 2-course fixed price menu so tried it out. Reasonable range that gave me and my wife a good choice for the money - £8 one- £10 two- & 12 three-Courses. We both had a Seared Purple-sprouting Broccoli salad which was small but ooh the taste! Worth every penny. Main course was... More

We were on a weekend away in Exeter and went on someone's recommendation. Initially we were put off by how small it looked and also the local pub look. Admittedly a very nice local pub but still a local pub. Luckily we overcome this initial misgivings. Out the back is a small but perfectly formed eating area. Cosy is probably... More

We visited today and had lunch. Great food, great service! Really enjoyed it. I had pulled beef burger, rustic with a kick! Would definitely recommend them and will visit again soon! Lovely management. Great chef! 😊😊

We had the set lunch, which was 2 courses for about a tenner. The food was extremely well cooked and certainly adequate portions for lunch. The service was friendly and professional. Overall I would say this is a gem of a place and will certainly be returning.

On my saturday lunchtime visit the Oddfellows was pretty busy with quite a few drinkers as well as the diners. There was a nice atmosphere, the staff seem to know some of the regulars well. I asked about gluten free food options and the girl behind the bar helpfully checked with the chef, it seems a lot of meals can... More

Plenty of variety on the menu. Well stocked bar. Tasty food. Reasonable prices. Not too busy. Nice conservatory area to dine in. Recommend the fish and chips on the lunch menu

A Chef friend of mine said that a sign of a good restaurant is if they have a small menu. We went to Oddfellows for lunch today. The fixed price menu had only 9 or 10 items on it for the three courses. We all chose from this menu and the food was simple, delicious and extremely well done. I... More

We went as a group for a catch up over a few drinks. We hadn't realised it was open mic night and to be honest when we realised it was we debated leaving. There was no need the guy playing was fantastic. I could have stayed much longer listening but the benefit was you could still talk and listen to... More

It was extremely noisy, but went knowing it would unfortunately be the case. I had the only veggie thing on the menu (I found the lack of choice dissapointing), a risotto, with essence of beerror and brie. It tasted quite nice, but the portion was tiny. It was an evening meal, not a light snack. 3 of our group had... More

Description
The Oddfellows is a stone's throw away from Exeter's main shopping centre. This is a very friendly unpretentious gastro style pub, with a sociable, down to earth atmosphere. With a fantastic lunch starting at £10 for 2 courses, but still offering some pub classics like fish & chips, but one properly! Fine Ale, in the Good Pub Guide 2014, 2015 & 2016 result! Great wines! Just take a load off and visit us!
