We enjoyed an excellent fish menu, but the portions were so generous that we were unable to finish them. If you're having the fabulous fish pie, for instance, you won't need a starter! That was my mistake! Excellent service.

We called in for a pint before our weekend stay in Dawlish. I was last here around 15-16 years ago as a 17-18 year old. An old pub with a lovely feel. Nice nautical theme throughout. Friendly in a lovely quiet location. Nice real ales.

Amazing food, good beer/drinks selection and good service. All starters were varied and of good quality, main courses were good portions and did not disappoint. All thought it was excellent. Pub has lovely feel to it - pity we live so far away!

Sorry for delay, you can also go by car, it's about 15-16 miles drive, find the A379 towards Dawlish. Cockwood is just off the A579 about 30-35 mins total
