The Fort has been my local for twenty years now. Still sells great beer, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it still has the best atmosphere of any pub in Plymouth. There is a reason why they win CAMRA awards year after year.

This is a rather basic and dated pub which reflects the area it is in on Mutley Plain. However the staff were warm and friendly and the beer was a good range and not over priced. These are proper pub people and I would definitely...More

A fantastic Real Ale House in Plymouth, 9-10 Real Ales and Real Cider too...an oasis in a desert of rubbish bars and crappy pubs. The Sunday Roast at £4.99 is a must! At other times feel free to bring in your own food from the myriad of food outlets in the near vicinity.
