Situated next to the Barbican area, Cap'n Jaspers is a great and inexpensive place to grab a snack. Very competitively priced burgers and hot dogs alongside hot and cold drinks make this place very popular. Highly recommend.

Hideous, cheap nasty burger, over cooked, dry and tasteless. Dirty tables. Unhelpful staff. Felt sick for the rest of the day. Never again.

Even on a cloudy, blustery day, Cap'n Jaspers is a good choice (just make sure you're sat on one of the covered sides!). Visited twice in the space of a week, while on holiday in Plymouth, and both times thoroughly enjoyed it. Good food and very reasonably-priced. The cups of tea even come in proper mugs!

How nice to be back for a good burger n mug of tea. The staff always find time for a bit of banter. Good no nonsense burger stall that has been feeding guests for many years.

Amazing stop off if going for an evening stroll. Stop off at Cap'n Jaspers and have a hot chocolate with a Cheddar Porker. Local icons and maritime memorabilia make it ideal for blending in with the beauty of the barbican. Popular spot for bikers and they are really friendly. It is a local historic icon and the staff are great.... More

Omg what lovely fast food. All cooked fresh to order in open kitchen area. Hot tasty and great value. My son had the biggest hotdog I've seen in my life. Bless him his eyes nearly came out of his head when he saw it!!!!
