We live just a few miles away but at least once a year we like to do an overnight stay. As always the reception upon arrival is really friendly and our room was warm and cosy. We had pre-dinner drinks prior to our evening meal...More

This is a gem of a Hotel on a small quiet country road. The restaurant food wonderful, the hotel very comfortable and welcoming and everything is provided for your comfort. Staff attentive but not overly nothing is too much trouble.

The menu is always interesting, the food prepared and cooked with great care and skill. The wine list is also rather good. Excellent value.

Yalbury Cottage is deservedly popular (the majority if not all of our convivial, fellow diners were clearly regulars) and it is not easy to get a table so we were very much looking forward to dinner. Pre-dinner canapes were exquisite, as was the home-made bread...More

Sorry, I was a customer. I do not own or run this restaurant. It does not open for lunch but probably would do your wedding reception!
