As city dwellers on a quick overnight getaway from London, we enjoyed our drinks at this lovely character filled pub set in the heart of picturesque Alfriston. It was just the type of watering hole we were looking for!

Enjoyed a short walking break, staying at Ye Olde Smugglers Inne in Alfriston. An old, characterful pub, with comfortable room, and warm ambience. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, excellent beers....a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great, proper old school pub with well kept beers and friendly staff. Can't comment on food as didn't eat there but very warm and inviting. sort of pub where you feel like a guest in someones home.
